Welcome to the Novels WikiProject
[edit]Hello and welcome to the Novels WikiProject! As you may have guessed, we're a group of editors working to improve Wikipedia's coverage of topics related to fiction books, often referred to as "novels".
A few features that you might find helpful:
- Our navigation box points to most of the useful pages within the project.
- The announcement and open task box is updated quite regularly. You can watch it if you're interested; or, you can add it directly to your user page by including {{WikiProject Novels announcements}} there.
While you are updating your userpage, don't forget our userbox{{Wikipedia:WikiProject Novels/Outreach/User WPNOVELS}}
. - Important discussions take place on the project's main discussion page; it is highly recommended that you watchlist it.
- Planning on starting some new articles? Our article structure guidelines / template outlines some things to include.
If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask one of the coordinators or an experienced member of the project; we will be happy to assist in any way we can. Again, welcome, and we look forward to seeing you around! Alan16 (talk) 00:33, 30 August 2009 (UTC)
No problem
[edit]No problem. It is part of my job as Assistant Co-ordinator. If you ever need a hand with anything, feel free to get in touch with either myself, Lead Co-ordinator Kevinalewis, or the other Assistant Co-ordinator Pmlinediter. I read The Last Thing I Remember not all that long ago, so I'll have a look at the article later and help out where I can. Best regards, Alan16 (talk) 01:22, 30 August 2009 (UTC).
- It is a really good book. If you have a picture of the cover which is either in the public domain or of which you own the copyright (which is unlikely in this situation) then you can upload by putting the link in the "| image = " part of the infobox, then add a caption saying what the image is. If you want to upload an image you can do so by following the instructions here: Special:Upload. As for the citations of the book summaries, if you're struggling then Amazon summaries can be cited, but really it isn't incredibly important as long as you don't put anything too contentious in. I'll see what I can find in a short while - getting distracted by the NFL pre-season matches... Regards, Alan16 (talk) 02:37, 30 August 2009 (UTC).
The article The Last Thing I Remember has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
- non-notable per WP:BK
While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. -- Alan Liefting (talk) - 21:42, 20 October 2010 (UTC)
