Information icon Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. When you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion (but never when editing articles), such as at User talk:Kpgjhpjm, please be sure to sign your posts. There are two ways to do this. Either:

  1. Add four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment, or
  2. With the cursor positioned at the end of your comment, click on the signature button located above the edit window.

This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is necessary to allow other editors to easily see who wrote what and when.

Hello Editor897

I'm new to Wikipedia and would greatly appreciate you guidance.

Upon completing my registration yesterday, I was suggested to edit the Armacell wiki. I spent a couple of hours on doing so and believe the updated version is significantly better that the original. I edited structure, spelling and grammar and added some recent information about the sale of the company in 2015 and updated financial information from the company annual report.

Consequently is discouraging that you reverted to the original version and I wanted to understand why. The source for the sale of the company is a press release issued by Blackstone and for remaining content it was the audited company annual report. Why isn't that sufficient? While Armacell is a relaively big company there is not that much 3rd party information about the company out there.

PLease take this in the spirit it was intended. I Just want to learn.... — Preceding unsigned comment added by Williamkingpetersen (talkcontribs) 10:06, 28 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]

ArbCom 2019 election voter message

[edit]
Hello! Voting in the 2019 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 on Monday, 2 December 2019. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2019 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. If you no longer wish to receive these messages, you may add {{NoACEMM}} to your user talk page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 00:24, 19 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]
