important e-mail

[edit]

Hi Ayelie, I've sent you an important message. --Kyoko 06:22, 1 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Don't worry, Ayelie!

[edit]

Ayelie, sweetie, take your time with that email, I'm not going anywhere ;) It's really frustrating to lose texts you've already prepared, isn't it... :( But no need to write anything flowery to me, I'm not that complicated.... well... depends on who you ask, but still, just the ocassional "hey Shazza, what's up" is more than enough! ;) Take care girl, love you. Ananthabhadram needs copy edit

[edit]

Please, could you take a look at the article Ananthabhadram? It needs quite some copy editing job. In case you are interested, do not begin before 10 June. I am making some improvements to the article. I hope to get the article to a GA status and eventually to an FA status. Aditya Kabir 08:19, 8 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks Aditya Kabir 09:40, 8 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
It's ready for a copyedit drive now. If you need anything from me, just ask. I know that the redlinks need to be converted into stubs or better, that much I'll be doing anyways. Aditya Kabir 06:31, 9 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Buzz... buzz... Mars calling Earth... Ananthabhadram still waiting... blip... blip... copyedit? Aditya Kabir 21:03, 10 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
You can never be more invisible than an edit summary. I already have found out that you've working on it. The Martians will never forget this favor. Beep... beep... over and out. Cheers. Aditya Kabir 04:47, 11 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

League of Copyeditors

[edit]
The Copyeditor's Barnstar
EaL, over the six months or so since the LoC was founded, you have been quietly and dilligently copyediting articles. I just wanted you to know that your awesome contributions do not go unnoticed. Trusilver 03:47, 12 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

WikiProject Ballet & Dance 1/ Ballet WP articles in Dance WP 2/ non-articles currently show in Article categories

[edit]

I copied the more sophisticated template from ballet to dance WPs,it would be better if categories, templates, etc were not categorised in Category:WikiProject Ballet articles & Category:WikiProject Dance articles, do you know how to stop this happening?

The WikiProject Australia article template includes the regional projects, it would be good if we could do that for dance & ballet. Ballet articles would automatically be picked up by dance, e.g., {{WP Australia|class=NA|Adelaide=yes}} (link {{WP Australia}}). Paul foord 03:18, 18 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

you have some mail

[edit]

Hi Ayelie, I've sent you some mail. How are you? --Kyoko 04:44, 18 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

An editor has nominated List of Shakespeare's works, an article on which you have worked or that you created, for deletion. We appreciate your contributions, but the nominator doesn't believe that the article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in his/her nomination (see also "What Wikipedia is not"). Your opinions on whether the article meets inclusion criteria and what should be done with the article are welcome; please participate in the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/List of Shakespeare's works and please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~). You may also edit the article during the discussion to improve it but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion debate. Thank you. --Quiddity 07:23, 19 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Ayelie, take a look at my comment on the AfD. So, what do you think of my idea? I can help you if you would like, but I would appreciate hearing from you first before going forward with the changes I suggested. While I'm here, I would also like to bring to your attention the Shakespeare WikiProject. I'm not a member, because I don't feel sufficiently versed in Shakespeare to join, but I thought you might be interested. --Kyoko 19:27, 19 June 2007 (UTC), amended 20:21, 19 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I'm going to be busy this week with not much time for wiki-related matters, so I hope you don't mind if I leave the work to you at this time. Besides, I'm not sure how to fit plot summaries into your current format. I'll be glad to help when I have time. I took a look at the page, and it's already significantly different from the parent William Shakespeare article. Good work! Love, Kyoko 23:16, 19 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned non-free image (Image:028 - DGM.PNG)

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:028 - DGM.PNG. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BetacommandBot 02:38, 21 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Eemergency

[edit]

It is hard to request such things when you're in trouble with your equipment. But, it's an emergency nonetheless. The article Language movement is an FAC for sometime now. But, the copy is still in shambles. It desparately needs an experienced copyrighter. If you can't dabble into it right away, can yo get some one else to lend a hand? Aditya Kabir 04:49, 23 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Please, sob sob cry cry, I'm already down on my knees, hoping it'd work. If nothing else, lend a hand in the lead/summary section. My darn copy skills are not good enough for the task. Aditya Kabir 16:37, 24 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks. I was kind of wondering what happened to you, and arrived, wrongly, at the decision that you must be busy somewhere else. As soon as the inuse tag is gone I'll let you know, I promise. Aditya Kabir 03:40, 25 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Ayelie, it's on again, no more in use. Aditya Kabir 04:03, 25 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Ayelie, you probably remember that I'm a member of the Opera WikiProject, and one of the articles that is listed with the project as something to build into a Good Article is about an 18th century choreographer named Marie Sallé. I don't know anything about her, and I don't know if you do either, but knowing that you're a member of Wikipedia:WikiProject Dance, I thought I would bring her to your attention. Perhaps you could mention this article to whoever might know more. I've gone ahead and tagged the article talk page for the Dance project. I hope you're well. Love you, Kyoko 07:26, 24 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Shows you how much I know about ballet... I know a number of ballets from the musical side of things, but not from the perspective of a dancer. Thanks for the info about the ballet-specific tags! If I find anymore untagged articles, do you want me to mention them to you? Oh, while I'm here, here is another ballet stub for you, actually one that I wrote myself sometime ago: Don Quichotte chez la Duchesse. :) --Kyoko 07:41, 24 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Hmm... the article on Don Quichotte may still merit being by itself, because it may eventually include discussion of musical history and analysis, and I'm not certain that all of the ballets listed in Don Quixote (ballet) all use the same plot. There are many, many small and large plotlines within Don Quixote‘s narrative frame of the knight errant. With that in mind, I think I would prefer to keep Don Quichotte chez la Duchesse by itself, and add links betweeen it and the parent article. I hope you understand. Oh, and I noticed the message above about Language movement. Don't worry yourself about it, I might take a peek at it and see what I can do. Love, Kyoko 20:52, 24 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

An award!!

[edit]

Hello!

[edit]

It's been a while and I've been thinking about you (amazingly enough my first sleepless night in a week) quite a bit—we haven't really been talking that much have we? I understand though, especially since you are moving, and I know just how that goes. ;) I'll talk to you later, :) —  $PЯINGrαgђ  14:56, 25 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Please copyedit

[edit]

it (The Language Movement) has calm down a bit (there is no inuse tag now). So you can work with it now if you like. Regards -Tarif from Bangladesh 20:32, 27 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Boink!

[edit]

Email alert! Belated one, in fact, as I wrote to you a few hours ago ;) Love you sweetie! Phaedriel - 16:15, 28 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
