French canton articles
I would like to contribute some Cantons of France articles and admire the work you have done on these. Where did you get the data for the "Demographic evolution" tables you have put in these articles, e.g. Canton of Barcelonnette? Regards, Kiwipete (talk) 02:00, 3 August 2010 (UTC)
Your RFA
I regret to inform you, that per WP:NOTNOW I have closed Wikipedia:Requests for adminship/Editorofthewiki 2 as success at this point is extremely unlikely. I hope the feedback is beneficial should you decide to submit a third RFA sometime in the future. Courcelles (talk) 06:40, 4 August 2010 (UTC)
- Didn't even see it in time. I'm so sorry Ed. I honestly thought you were pretty active still nowadays - and I'm glad to see you again. Hey, are you up for working on an article? ceranthor 12:38, 4 August 2010 (UTC)
Derrick Williams
Hey, I saw you added a hatnote to Derrick Williams (basketball) on the article Derrick Williams. Are you planning to create an article on the basketball player? If not, a hatnote shouldn't be used according to WP:HATNOTE#Non-existent articles. Strikehold (talk) 02:23, 9 August 2010 (UTC)
- I reverted the hatnote [1] since the article was not created immediately and you are apparently waiting for reviews of other articles which can take time. It's confusing to leave a "see X" for a non-existing X for a significant time. PrimeHunter (talk) 21:53, 10 August 2010 (UTC)

I've declined the speedy. See the above section describing "pseudo" namespaces. I don't necessarily like them, but CAT:TEMP, in particular, is linked in countless log actions which is why we've kept a descriptive page there even after deprecating the category to which it used to redirect. –xenotalk 18:06, 18 August 2010 (UTC)

Pennsylvania townships
The moves were all done several months ago, perhaps longer, after a discussion with Nyttend and some others. The basic rationale was that because there are quite a few duplicate township names (two or more X Townships in the state), it was never clear when writing a wikilink if you needed to type [[X Township, Pennsylvania]] or [[X Township, Y County, Pennsylvania]]. Thanks, Ruhrfisch ><>°° 20:38, 18 August 2010 (UTC)
- The discussion was at Wikipedia_talk:WikiProject_Pennsylvania#Townships in April and May of 2009. Ruhrfisch ><>°° 23:39, 18 August 2010 (UTC)
- There is only one town in the state. ;-) If you want to reverse the change (which no one else has commented on to my knowledge in over a year), please discuss it at the Pennsylvania WikiProject talk page. I note that there are redirects for all the unique non-county names (like West Branch Township, Pennsylvania) and dabs for all the duplicate names (like Adams Township, Pennsylvania). Your Nomination at Good Article Status
I'm very sorry but your nomination of Hamdog failed. You can see the reasons and suggestions here. The article simply lacked much content and needs work. Please re-submit the article at a later time. Thank you, Joe Gazz84user•talk•contribs•Editor Review 22:50, 25 August 2010 (UTC)

Adminship
You seem to be interested in adminship, so I'm just going to say this: If you stay active, get a few more GAs and FAs, and do some anti-vandalism work, I think you'll be fair game for adminship in about 6 to 8 months. Just my thoughts. Access Denied talk contribs editor review 20:00, 26 August 2010 (UTC)
- (talk page stalker) Yeah, I agree. In your last RFA, you were only blamed for a low number of edits during the last few months. Keep editing as much as you do now and I'll also believe you will get the mop. Cheers, /HeyMid (contributions) 13:03, 27 August 2010 (UTC)
Hi
There's a message on my talk page at Commons: http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/User_talk:Begoon concerning these images. Apparently they will be deleted as copyvio if OTRS don't get a permissions email from the author: Steve Lipofsky of http://www.basketballphoto.com
I'm not going to follow it up, because I know nothing about the images, or their provenance - except that I did the funny little low res crop for you.
If you don't follow it up either, and OTRS don't get their email, then a tip is to make sure you download copies of the images before they get deleted, and then I guess you might subsequently try to upload them here at en under the fair use rules - no free alternative being available. Your call - but if you need any help, give me a shout. Begoontalk 12:26, 28 August 2010 (UTC)
Hi, Editorofthewiki. In a July/August 2010 policy discussion (at Wikipedia talk:What Wikipedia is not/Archive 34#Does WP:NOTMYSPACE apply to secret pages?), community consensus was that the policy Wikipedia:What Wikipedia is not prohibits secret pages. Would you tag for deletion both User:Editorofthewiki/Secret and User:Editorofthewiki/Secret/Real with {{db-userreq}}? Thank you, Cunard (talk) 08:25, 30 August 2010 (UTC)

Your GA nomination of Magnum Rolle
The article Magnum Rolle you nominated as a good article has been placed on hold . The article is close to meeting the good article criteria, but there are some minor changes or clarifications needed to be addressed. If these are fixed within seven days, the article will pass, otherwise it will fail. See Talk:Magnum Rolle for things which need to be addressed. Brad78 (talk) 23:01, 31 August 2010 (UTC)
