- But I think there must be an article on Smile.jpg. If not, it will be impossible to gather information on it. Billions of people rely on Wikipedia. Eshaan011 (talk) 18:03, 4 September 2020 (UTC)

[edit]Thank you for your contributions to NORAD Tracks Santa, but we are trying to write an encyclopedia here, so please keep your edits factual and neutral. Our readers are looking for serious articles and will not find joke edits amusing. Remember that Wikipedia is a widely used reference tool, so we have to take what we do here seriously. If you'd like to experiment with editing, use your sandbox instead. Thank you. BilCat (talk) 03:44, 25 December 2020 (UTC)
- I was not trying to make a joke, I was just writing just for yesterday that the website was tracking. Currently, it has finished its 'tracking'. It 100% was appropriate to revert it.
- That's not what that tag is for. It's for articles about current events where the available. information is changing quickly, and may lead to the article being edited hundreds.of times in just a few hours. This is commonly used for major events like accidents or notable deaths. It's not meant for something like a site that tracks Santa. BilCat (talk) 17:48, 25 December 2020 (UTC)
- 2020 Nashville bombing is a proper use of the template. BilCat (talk) 18:59, 25 December 2020 (UTC)
