Re: Subpage

[edit]

Hi Falegas, and welcome to wikipedia. I hope you find the above template useful, it containes links to editing tips and relevant policies here on wikipedia. The easiest way would be to create your own personal sandbox at User:Falegas/Sandbox, and write it up in there. Once you are satisfied that what you have written meet the wikipedia policies for inclusion in wikipedia, ie WP:N and WP:V, then you can transfer it to the mainspace. Hope this helps, and any further questions, just ask! :) ♥NiciVampireHeart16:44, 3 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

You're welcome! :) ♥NiciVampireHeart16:52, 4 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Shawn Michaels

[edit]

He hasn't done much worth noting yet. He didn't really feud with JBL (they had 2 matches, on at No Way Out and one on Raw), the rest of the time he was the willing employee of JBL. We can't list future matches either. There wouldn't be enough info for a 2009 section, but if you want to mention his employment with JBL and put it in the previous section I wouldn't be opposed to it. TJ Spyke 18:58, 8 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Kozlov, yet. He hasn't done much with The Undertaker though (only challenged him and tried to psych out Undertaker) and his match at WM can't be mentioned yet (and WP:PW policy is to not list future matches except on the article for the PPV). TJ Spyke 19:04, 8 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]
WP:PW the project devoted to improving wrestling articles. Guidelines and policies about wrestling articles are decided there (as long as they don't go against overall Wikipedia guidelines). TJ Spyke 19:08, 8 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]
No, I am just trying to tell you what the current guidelines are. If you think it should be changed you are free to bring it up (you don't have to join the project if you don't want to). TJ Spyke 19:14, 8 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Re: Twinkle

[edit]

Twinkle is a tool or an automatic program to help with reverting vandalism and reporting users, etc. You can read more about it here. It's similar to a few other tools, I believe, like Huggle and Friendly. I don't know too much about it to be honest as I can't install it,; I use Internet Explorer which isn't compatible. Sorry, I couldn't be of more help. ♥NiciVampireHeart11:08, 12 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Afraid not. Sorry! ♥NiciVampireHeart14:48, 13 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Apologies for not being more useful! You could try asking any question you have at the Twinkle talk page, Wikipedia talk:Twinkle, where Twinkle users could help you out. ♥NiciVampireHeart14:53, 13 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Jericho

[edit]

Hello. Regarding your reversion of the Chris Jericho change, just wanted to assure you that it was in no way an attempt at vandelism - I was merely tring to illustrate the daring move Jericho has made in altering his established chjaracter so drastically - a move which is pretty much universally regarded as successful. Much of what I wrote was taken from a recent Paul Heyman article about the strength of WWE heels at the moment. Here's the full section on Jericho:

" Then there's Chris Jericho. Talk about a total transformation. The riot-causing superstar, formerly known as Y2J, addressed every characteristic that made him popular, and stripped those traits away from himself.

You liked the charismatic delivery of his interviews? He went monotone and simply delivered his lines coldly. You liked the cool catchphrases? They're gone, too.

You liked the high-powered music entrance, with the cool pose and rock star turnaround? Gone as well!

All that's left is an articulate villain who delivers his lines with little emotion but lots of conviction. Jericho's contempt for all those who dare to oppose him is a 180 degree turn from the fun-loving Ayatollah of Rock 'n' Rolla whose fan base had few peers in terms of numbers and volume.

While everyone is rightfully praising Roddy Piper's tremendous interview on Monday Night Raw, many are missing the point that one of the key reasons that promo was so effective is because it was delivered to Jericho, in his face, with his character being subjected to such a lecture"

I hope this helps to clear up what I was trying to achieve :)--Crestville (talk) 08:31, 17 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Re: Legacy

[edit]

Well the two main problems with it that I see, are that a) it's inaccurate, and b) that there's too much week-by-week. For example, regarding the inaccurate part, the stable wasn't formed at Night of Champions, the tag team of Rhodes and DiBiase was. The stable was formed in November/December of that year (can't remember which), after Survivor Series, when Rhodes and Manu helped Orton attack Cena. The week-by-week part, the thing about Kelly Kelly. This led to one match with Kane. How is that notable? And again with the inaccurate part about "ending the feud". One match does not equal a feud. It also needs a pretty good copyedit for cohesion and per the Manual of Style. Once you've done all this, bring it up at WP:PW, and see whether there's a consensus to add it to mainspace. ♥NiciVampireHeart08:10, 25 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

LOL. It's experience, I've been on wikipedia for nearly a year and a half. You wait and see, you'll know the answers to everything once you've been here this long. :) Anything else, my talk page is always open! ♥NiciVampireHeart15:42, 25 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Yes, much better, though probably a little too much detail on the night after the Royal Rumble - see if you can cut it down a little. :) A few things; You should mention Rhodes and DiBiase first forming under the "Priceless" heading, or else it looks a bit strange to just dive right into "the tag team of Rhodes and DiBiase was joined by Manu". When Raw refers to the tv show, eg on the X episode of Raw, Raw should be italicised. References should come after punctuation, i.e. commas/fullstops then the reference. Hope this helps. :) ♥NiciVampireHeart15:51, 25 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]
I'm sorry, what is it exactly that you want me to do? ♥NiciVampireHeart15:58, 25 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Got it, it had a table-closing-bracket thing at the start of the table, making it strange. [1]NiciVampireHeart16:01, 25 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]
You're welcome! :) ♥NiciVampireHeart16:04, 25 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]
