Hello, I have received permission from Mr. Krasinski to use the information from his bio page on www.Krasinski.org in its entirety for this project. I also know the photographer Mr. Levasseur who took the photo of him personally and he is also fine with me using the photo, as is Mr. Krasinski. I will inform them both of the procedures to request copyright release… I see it is this form? https://commons.wikimedia.org/w/index.php?title=Commons:Wikimedia_VRT_release_generator&uselang=en&useskin=minerva&withJS=MediaWiki%3ARelgen.js Fangorsangel (talk) 02:11, 22 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I have sent the form to Mr. Levasseur who originally took this photo to email the release and attachment to the VRT. Just as additional information and context, I also had personally uploaded the photo in question to Mr. Krasinski's IMDb from his own computer, along with typing and editing the majority of the text on that IMDb page, for use in Mr. Krasinski's bio page on there, at his request as he had recently been given membership to SAG after his acting role in The Holdovers. He is also very notable and well-known within the pipe organ community. I do not know if I need additional permission to use the biography that is meant for public use on Mr. Krasinski's own web page (www.krasinski.org), which is also a downloadable file for there meant for press releases. So hopefully this issue can be resolved and my edits can be restored in entirety very soon. Fangorsangel (talk) 09:15, 22 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
If I need to show additional proof that the bio text has permission to be used by Mr. Krasinski in full, please inform me of what it is needed to be done or where to send that to so that using the text is not an issue. The bio itself, which is on www.krasinski.org and is meant for use for the public and press releases, already contains short quotes from press reviews/critics from elsewhere, but does not have citations, which is what I was attempting to add. I could indicate the additional references on the text once it is restored and I can add inline citations specifically in the text--if there is a certain format that needs to be used for inline citations, perhaps in parentheses stating the material comes from www.krasinski.org, vs. superscripts to the reference page. I had added references to each of the quotations in the bio as well. The link to the bio page is also in the references list that was removed.
Anyway, it is a disservice to the public that the information is not available, and for posterity, if this is not able to be addressed. Fangorsangel (talk) 09:27, 22 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Mr. Levasseur uploaded the file to Wikimedia with free rights.

Please let me know if there is anything further that should be done to the text once the contributions are restored to point to the freely available bio text and its sources, or if anything else needs to be done. Thank you! Fangorsangel (talk) 12:15, 22 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
