Hi, and welcome to Wikipedia. I have investigated further and the IP 65.8.221.157 that you reported for vandalism was actually apparently doing good edits. I am now not sure you were correct in reverting, for eample, the table they added to Kung Fu Panda. If you could please give an explanation here on this talk page I would appreciate it. Thanks. --Diannaa (Talk) 21:51, 20 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I'm watching the page Kung Fu Panda. Thanks for reminding me. Fjp1995 (talk) 22:04, 20 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Vandalism

[edit]

Please note, this edit, which you reverted,[1] was not vandalism and should not have been marked as such. As you are obviously aware, this content has been changed several times now.[2][3][4] The appropriate action would be to ask the IP on their talk page why he or she keeps changing it if you think they are wrong. Please note, edit summaries such as "be careful"[5][6] are not appropriate. Edit summaries should explain the actions you have taken during an edit. --AussieLegend (talk) 07:56, 28 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, but a recent edit of yours to the article Phineas and Ferb (season 3) has an edit summary that appears to be inaccurate or inappropriate. Please use edit summaries that accurately tell other editors what you did, and feel free to use the sandbox for any tests you may want to do. Thank you. Your report to AIV

[edit]

I would advise you that your recent report (which I have actioned) was tagged by the AIVbot as being recorded as a WP:Minor edit. You may wish to check that you have not got your preferences to default to marking edits as minor - I would counsel for changing that - or you need to be a bit more careful in future in which boxes you tick. It is not a biggy, usually, but some people can get a bit "boisterous" about it. Cheers, LessHeard vanU (talk) 20:48, 3 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/American Dad! (season 8)

[edit]

Just to let you know that I have closed your request at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/American Dad! (season 8). I had already speedy deleted the redirect at that title. Redirects should not be nominated via the Articles for deletion process; there is a separate process for them at WP:Redirects for deletion. —C.Fred (talk) 18:54, 4 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

April 2011

[edit]

I know that. Fjp1995 (talk) 20:21, 5 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Well, can you please explain what you are doing (either in the edit summary or on the Talk page) rather than just keep reverting? You appear to be removing a table - if you explain why, I might be able to help -- Boing! said Zebedee (talk) 20:23, 5 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I don't own articles and i don't know. Fjp1995 (talk) 20:25, 5 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]
You don't know why you are removing the table? -- Boing! said Zebedee (talk) 20:29, 5 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]
It was Nobody. Fjp1995 (talk) 20:32, 5 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]
You have been blocked indefinitely from editing because your account is being used only for vandalism. If you would like to be unblocked, you may appeal this block by adding the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}, but you should read the guide to appealing blocks first. -- Boing! said Zebedee (talk) 20:37, 5 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]
You appear to have been in edit wars all over the place, and that is simply not acceptable -- Boing! said Zebedee (talk) 20:40, 5 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for blocking me. Anyway i'll see you later. Fjp1995 (talk) 20:42, 5 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Note for Fjp1995

[edit]

Hi Fjp1995. It seems that your account is blocked indefinitely by Boing! said Zebedee. But that's okay. I'll see you soon. Goodbye. AntiFjp1995 (talk) 20:47, 5 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Hello. This message is being sent to inform you that there is currently a discussion at Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents regarding an issue with which you may have been involved. Thank you.

Your editing

[edit]

Hi. Now that you've had a day off, I wonder if you might care to discuss the problem here in a sensible manner? I only made your block indefinite because of your silly replies to my messages, as they suggested you were not interested in working here collegially. But indefinite does not mean infinite, and if you can explain what's been happening, we might be able to set a fixed time for your block or perhaps even lift it altogether. What I think we'd need is an explanation of what you have been doing, why you have been doing so many reverts of other people's edits without discussion. And we'd need to be confident that you understand why you were blocked, and hear what you will do to adjust your behavior accordingly. What do you say? -- Boing! said Zebedee (talk) 15:33, 6 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I'm sorry about edit warring. Fjp1995 (talk) 17:18, 6 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Looking at your edit history, I see you have done a huge amount of reverts of other people's changes (in fact, you've done almost nothing but reverts), but with no Talk page discussion and with almost no edit summaries. I also hear from another admin that you made reports to WP:AIV accusing people of vandalism, when they were making perfectly good edits. Is there anything you'd like to say about these things? And would you care to tell us what your future plans are here at Wikipedia? -- Boing! said Zebedee (talk) 17:26, 6 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]
This time. I will never ever edit war again and I will never ever report other users again. Can you please unblock me now. Fjp1995 (talk) 17:29, 6 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Hi, I'm just having a chat with another admin and will get back to you as soon as I can (but I think we're in different time zones, so please be patient). -- Boing! said Zebedee (talk) 18:43, 6 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Okay. (i'm waiting) Fjp1995 (talk) 18:50, 6 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Hi. Having consulted with others, I have now unblocked you - but there are a couple of conditions attached. As you have agreed to stop edit-warring, we'd like to see you making no more than 1 revert on any article in any 24 hour period. And if you disagree with content edits by others, talk to them about it and discuss it on the article Talk page rather than going straight to a vandalism report. Also, a key Wikipedia policy that you need to understand (and which can be quite confusing to new editors) is Wikipedia:Verifiability. What that means is that additions need to be verifiable and supported by reliable sources (WP:RS describes what counts as reliable sources - you particularly need to be aware that fan sites that anyone can edit are not considered reliable sources). That works both ways, and if other editors add material that cannot be verified, discuss it with them and see if between you you can find a reliable source - if such a source cannot be found, then the material can be removed (but remember - just one revert per day is your limit). Anyway, welcome back, and I hope you find your future editing rewarding. -- Boing! said Zebedee (talk) 12:48, 7 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Hooray i'm unblocked now. Thanks Boing! said Zebedee. Fjp1995 (talk) 16:38, 7 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Hi, Fjp1995. I noticed that your first three edits after getting unblocked were "undo"s of other people's edits. What you are supposed to do when you undo someone's edit is to explain using the edit summary or the talk page of the article why the edit needed to be undone. And if you make changes to the content of an article, you need to show where you got your information by quoting a source. Please bear these rules in mind. Thanks. --Diannaa (Talk) 19:05, 7 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]
What am I gonna do. I'm gonna discuss it first. Fjp1995 (talk) 19:14, 7 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I have reverted all of those changes you made, because they were all continuations of your previous edit wars, and you carried on reverting the same edits with no explanation at all. I know you are restricted to 1 revert per day, but that does not mean you can carry on edit-warring but just more slowly - nobody is allowed to edit-war at any pace or over any period. So DO NOT carry on even a single one of your previous edit wars or I will block you again. If you want to repeat any change you have previously made, discuss it on the article talk page first, explaining why you want to make the change and providing some evidence to support it, and get a consensus first -- Boing! said Zebedee (talk) 19:39, 7 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I'm done reverting edits. And i really don't wanna to be blocked again. Fjp1995 (talk) 19:42, 7 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
