Speedy deletion nomination of Open Medicine (journal)
[edit]Hello Floraljay,
I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Open Medicine (journal) for deletion, because it seems to be promotional, rather than an encyclopedia article.
If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.
You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Da Wikipedian (talk) 10:09, 15 May 2015 (UTC)
Journal title changes
[edit]Please DO NOT create a new article simply because a journal changes title. The correct procedure is to modify the existing article and then move it to the new title. Thanks! --Randykitty (talk) 14:17, 17 June 2015 (UTC)
The article Open Agriculture has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
Non-notable new journal. Not indexed in any selective databases, no independent sources. Does not meet WP:NJournals or WP:GNG.
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Randykitty (talk) 10:54, 3 October 2017 (UTC)
"Journal fanpages"
[edit]Please do not add Facebook "fanpages" to journal infoboxes. This is considered spamming. Please remove them where you have added such links. Also, I noticed that you edit exclusively articles on journals published by De Gruyter. If you are editing WP as part of your job or are otherwise paid, you should declare this (see WP:PAID). In general, any conflict of interest needs to be declared. Thanks. --Randykitty (talk) 14:36, 24 January 2019 (UTC)

This discussion will occur at Wikipedia:Redirects for discussion/Log/2022 August 15#De Gruyter Open (formerly Versita) until a consensus is reached, and anyone, including you, is welcome to contribute to the discussion.
