Though you seem to have been successful in finding your way around, you may benefit from following some of the links below, which help editors get the most out of Wikipedia:

[edit]Hello, I'm BracketBot. I have automatically detected that your edit to Warwick Economics Summit may have broken the syntax by modifying 1 "()"s and 1 "[]"s likely mistaking one for another. If you have, don't worry: just edit the page again to fix it. If I misunderstood what happened, or if you have any questions, you can leave a message on my operator's talk page.

File permission problem with File:Eric Maskin Warwick Economics Summit.jpg
[edit]Thanks for uploading File:Eric Maskin Warwick Economics Summit.jpg. I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the file has agreed to release it under the given license.
If you are the copyright holder for this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either
- make a note permitting reuse under the CC-BY-SA or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or
- Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en@wikimedia.org, stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license. You can find a sample permission letter here. If you take this step, add {{OTRS pending}} to the file description page to prevent premature deletion.
If you did not create it entirely yourself, please ask the person who created the file to take one of the two steps listed above, or if the owner of the file has already given their permission to you via email, please forward that email to permissions-en@wikimedia.org.
If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:File copyright tags#Fair use, and add a rationale justifying the file's use on the article or articles where it is included. See Wikipedia:File copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.
If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have provided evidence that their copyright owners have agreed to license their works under the tags you supplied, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Files lacking evidence of permission may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. You may wish to read the Wikipedia's image use policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. January (talk) 20:06, 13 March 2014 (UTC)
Orphaned non-free image File:Logo of Warwick Economics Summit.png
[edit]Thanks for uploading File:Logo of Warwick Economics Summit.png. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described in the criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Stefan2 (talk) 14:59, 14 March 2014 (UTC)

- Hi Sir, Could you please tell me under which conditions a page for the Warwick Economics Summit would be suitable for publishing on Wikipedia? regards, Fstiennon. PS. Please excuse my spelling, English is not my native language. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Fstiennon (talk • contribs)
My view is that the subject is unsuitable for Wikipedia - full stop. If you wish to force an article in, I suggest you follow this advice and find a sponsor. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 11:19, 18 March 2014 (UTC)
Thank you for your message, I will follow your advice and find a sponsor. Regards, Francois.--Fstiennon (talk) 13:21, 18 March 2014 (UTC)
Your recent edits
[edit]Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. When you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion (but never when editing articles), please be sure to sign your posts. There are two ways to do this. Either:
- Add four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment; or
- With the cursor positioned at the end of your comment, click on the signature button ( or ) located above the edit window.
This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is necessary to allow other editors to easily see who wrote what and when.
Thank you. --SineBot (talk) 13:09, 18 March 2014 (UTC)
Dear Sir, Thank you for signalling this to me. I will do this every time in the future! Kind regards, --Fstiennon (talk) 13:11, 18 March 2014 (UTC)
Disambiguation link notification for March 4
[edit]Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Warwick Economics Summit, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Zhu Min. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.
