Hello, I saw that you added repeated links to the Guggenheim Museum article. Please review MOS:REPEATLINK. All the best, -- Ssilvers (talk) 03:21, 28 July 2019 (UTC)
Thank you for the note on repeated links - I was not aware of it but it makes sense. I just thought it was strange that there were links for the list of modern artists, except for two! Best, --GRDN711 (talk) 19:48, 29 July 2019 (UTC)
Changing dates
[edit]Don't change from dmy to mdy just because you don't like them. See Strong national ties to a topic and Retaining existing format. Basically Canadian dates can be in either style and if the article is already in one style leave it like that. CambridgeBayWeather, Uqaqtuq (talk), Sunasuttuq 06:54, 9 August 2019 (UTC)
Hello CambridgeBayWeather:
The Wikipedia topic on this states the case well - “Date and time notation in Canada combines conventions from the United Kingdom, the United States, and France, often creating confusion.”
I didn’t change the date format at Cambridge Bay because I didn’t like it; it just sounded a awkward when I spoke it. I made the changes intentionally but with good intentions.
Thank you for making me aware of Strong national ties to a topic and Retaining existing format. I now understand your point and will leave date formats in Canada alone going forward.
I see you are editing all over Canada as well as creating a number of good topics on places in the Far North.
Thank you for your comments - --GRDN711 (talk) 21:30, 9 August 2019 (UTC)
IP block exempt
[edit]I have granted your account an exemption from IP blocking for three months. This will allow you to edit the English Wikipedia through full blocks affecting your IP address when you are logged in. I have determined that you will be affected by certain blocks and have given you this so that it will not affect your ability to edit.
Please read the page Wikipedia:IP block exemption carefully, especially the section on IP block exemption conditions. Inappropriate usage of this user right may result in revocation. I hope this will enhance your editing, and allow you to edit successfully and without disruption.

Speedy deletion nomination of Draft:SOCIBER Valparaiso III floating dry dock
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Draft:SOCIBER Valparaiso III floating dry dock, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator.
