[edit]Hello George Nyiam,
I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Adegoke Pamilerin for deletion, because the article doesn't clearly indicate why the subject is important enough to be included in an encyclopedia.
If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.
You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Thanks!

Speedy deletion nomination of Adegoke Pamilerin
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Adegoke Pamilerin requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a real person or group of people that does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. [edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

A tag has been placed on Adegoke Pamilerin, requesting that it be deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under two or more of the criteria for speedy deletion, by which pages can be deleted at any time, without discussion. If the page meets any of these strictly-defined criteria, then it may soon be deleted by an administrator. The reasons it has been tagged are:
- It seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. (See section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion.) Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.
- It appears to be about a person, organization (band, club, company, etc.), individual animal, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. (See section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion.) Such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.
Speedy deletion nomination of Anthony Azekwoh
[edit]Hello, George Nyiam,
Welcome to Wikipedia! I edit here too, under the username Pppery and I thank you for your contributions.
I wanted to let you know, however, that I have tagged an article that you started, Anthony Azekwoh, for deletion, because a consensus decision previously decided that it wasn't suitable for inclusion in the encyclopedia. If you wish to restore a page deleted via a deletion discussion, please use the deletion review process instead, rather than reposting the content of the page.
If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top. If the page is already deleted by the time you come across this message and you wish to retrieve the deleted material, please contact the deleting administrator.
For any further query, please leave a comment here and prepend it with {{Re|Pppery}}

Anthony Azekwoh moved to draftspace
[edit]An article you recently created, Anthony Azekwoh, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more in-depth coverage about the subject itself, with citations from reliable, independent sources in order to show it meets WP:GNG. It should have at least three. And please remember that interviews, as primary sources, do not count towards GNG.(?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:
" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page.Onel5969 TT me 13:29, 27 December 2022 (UTC)
Speedy deletion nomination of File:Pamilerin Adegoke.jpg
[edit]A tag has been placed on File:Pamilerin Adegoke.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F9 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the file appears to be a blatant copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images taken from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.
If the image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use it — which means allowing other people to use it for any reason — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. The same holds if you are not the owner but have their permission. If you are not the owner and do not have permission, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission for how you may obtain it. You might want to look at Wikipedia's copyright policy for more details, or ask a question here.

Wikipedia and copyright
[edit]Hello George Nyiam! While we appreciate your contributions to Wikipedia, there are certain things you must keep in mind about using information from sources to avoid copyright and plagiarism issues.
- You can only copy/translate a small amount of a source, and you must mark what you take as a direct quotation with double quotation marks (") and cite the source using an inline citation. You can read about this at Wikipedia:Non-free content in the sections on "text". See also Help:Referencing for beginners, for how to cite sources here.
- Aside from limited quotation, you must put all information in your own words and structure, in proper paraphrase. Following the source's words too closely can create copyright problems, so it is not permitted here; see Wikipedia:Close paraphrasing. Even when using your own words, you are still, however, asked to cite your sources to verify the information and to demonstrate that the content is not original research.
- We have strict guidelines on the usage of copyrighted images. Fair use images must meet all ten of the non-free content criteria in order to be used in articles, or they will be deleted. To be used on Wikipedia, all other images must be made available under a free and open copyright license that allows commercial and derivative reuse.
- If you own the copyright to the source you want to copy or are a legally designated agent, you may be able to license that text so that we can publish it here. Understand, though, that unlike many other sites, where a person can license their content for use there and retain non-free ownership, that is not possible at Wikipedia. Rather, the release of content must be irrevocable, to the world, into either the public domain (PD) or under a suitably-free and compatible copyright license. Please see Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials.
- Also note that Wikipedia articles may not be copied or translated without attribution. If you want to copy or translate from another Wikipedia project or article, you must follow the copyright attribution steps described at Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia. See also Help:Translation#License requirements.
It's very important that contributors understand and follow these practices, as policy requires that people who persistently do not must be blocked from editing. If you have any questions about this, please ask them here on this page, or leave a message on my talk page. Thank you. Whpq (talk) 19:16, 23 February 2023 (UTC)

If you are Paid to create the article, by policy you are required to disclose it. How did you come to create a page forAdegoke Pamilerin if i may ask? Jamiebuba (talk) 06:42, 18 September 2023 (UTC)
- Pamilerin Adegoke is a popular Media influencer/personality in Nigeria. His peers in the industry have Wikipedia pages, but the page i created was deleted, as you can see. Pamilerin Adegoke is currently the Head of PR and Media for Peter Ndubuisi Mbah the incumbent Enugu State Governor. If you live in Nigeria, you'd know better. Kindly do your due diligence properly.
- If you have more questions, do not hesitate to ask.

- @George Nyiam, My apologies if my actions comes across to you as an abuse of privilege. Why I questioned you about Adegoke Pamilerin's page is because it has also been created under Pamilerin Adegoke which were all deleted as G11.
- Maria Chike Benjamin (Media Personality) has also been created severally under different titles like Maria Chike Benjamin (Ex BBN Housemate) and Maria Chike Benjamin. Can you explain this as well?
- If you feel the subject you are writing about meets Wikipedia guidelines for notability and you do not have any financial benefit or COI with the subject you can go ahead and submit for review or publish it in mainspace. But I will definitely take it to AFD if found in mainspace. If you have any questions please ping me! Jamiebuba (talk) 22:02, 18 September 2023 (UTC)
- Dear @Jamiebuba,
- Thank you for your feedback and reviews. I appreciate your feedback and concerns, and I want to assure you that I am not financially motivated or have any conflicts of interest. My primary motivation is to contribute to Wikipedia by creating and editing articles about notable people.
- I created the article Maria Chike Benjamin six months ago, but it was deleted due to concerns about its notability. I have since done extensive research and updated the article to meet Wikipedia's guidelines. I believe that Maria Chike Benjamin is a notable person (Ex-BBN), and I am confident that the article meets Wikipedia's standards.
- BBN is a popular reality TV show that is broadcast for 70–90 days in Nigeria and has millions of viewers. I have no reservations about submitting them as AFC.
- Thank you for your time and consideration.
- Best regards George Nyiam (talk) 06:39, 19 September 2023 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of Moruf Oseni
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Moruf Oseni requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G4 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion discussion, at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Moruf Oseni. When a page has substantially identical content to that of a page deleted after a discussion, and any changes in the content do not address the reasons for which the material was previously deleted, it may be deleted at any time.

- Dear @Significa liberdade,
- Thank you for your message. I conducted thorough research on Moruf Oseni before writing the article. As one of Nigeria’s leading banking executives, Moruf Oseni's predecessor has a Wikipedia page, as does Wema Bank. I want to clarify that I was not compensated for writing this article. Regarding the previous version written by @michaelUgbodu, I have not seen that article and am unaware of any similarities between our work. If the editorial team feels that Mr. Oseni is not notable enough for a Wikipedia article, I fully respect that decision.
- Best regards,
- George Nyiam (talk) 15:20, 22 August 2024 (UTC)
- HI, George Nyiam: Based on the comment from the editor who officially deleted the page, the article you created did not address some of the major concerns regarding Oseni's notability, which were discussed in the previous deletion discussion. That is, the sources provided did not verify that Oseni meets Wikipedia's notability guidelines for biographies. If you would like to retrieve the deleted page to improve upon it, you can place a request here. Let me know if you have any further questions. Take care, Significa liberdade (she/her) (talk) 19:27, 22 August 2024 (UTC)

[edit]Hello George Nyiam. The nature of your edits, such as the one you made to Moruf Oseni, gives the impression you have an undisclosed financial stake in promoting a topic, but you have not complied with Wikipedia's mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements. Paid advocacy is a category of conflict of interest (COI) editing that involves being employed (or being compensated in any way) by a person, group, company or organization to promote their interests. Paid advocacy on Wikipedia must be disclosed even if you have not specifically been asked to edit Wikipedia. Undisclosed paid advocacy is prohibited by our policies on neutral point of view and what Wikipedia is not, and is an especially serious type of COI; the Wikimedia Foundation regards it as a "black hat" practice akin to black-hat search-engine optimization.
Paid advocates are strongly discouraged from direct article editing, and should instead propose changes on the talk page of the article in question if an article exists. If the article does not exist, paid advocates are strongly discouraged from attempting to write an article at all. At best, any proposed article creation should be submitted through the articles for creation process, rather than directly.
Regardless, if you are receiving or expect to receive compensation for your edits, broadly construed, you are required by the Wikimedia Terms of Use to disclose your employer, client and affiliation. You can post such a mandatory disclosure to your user page at User:George Nyiam. The template {{Paid}} can be used for this purpose – e.g. in the form: {{paid|user=George Nyiam|employer=InsertName|client=InsertName}}
. If I am mistaken – you are not being directly or indirectly compensated for your edits – please state that in response to this message. Otherwise, please provide the required disclosure. - Thank you for reaching out. I conducted detailed research on Moruf Oseni prior to writing the article. As a prominent banking executive in Nigeria, I believe he merits consideration, especially since his predecessor Ademola Adebise and Wema Bank both have Wikipedia pages. I also want to make it clear that I wasn’t paid to write this article. I haven't seen @michaelUgbodu's previous version, so I'm unaware of any similarities. If the editorial team decides that Mr. Oseni isn’t notable enough for a Wikipedia entry, I completely respect that decision.
- Best regards
