Welcome to Wikipedia, Geza ulole 69! Thank you for your contributions. I am First Light and I have been editing Wikipedia for some time, so if you have any questions feel free to leave me a message on my talk page. You can also check out Wikipedia:Questions or type {{helpme}} at the bottom of this page. Here are some pages that you might find helpful:

Also, when you post on talk pages you should sign your name using four tildes (~~~~); that will automatically produce your username and the date. I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! First Light (talk) 17:39, 2 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

P. S. There is now a discussion at Talk:Dar es Salaam regarding which photo to use at the top of the article. Please discuss it there, rather than edit-warring to insist on your personal choice, until Consensus is reached as to which photo is best. The current photo is a Featured Picture and should remain unless there is consensus to replace it. First Light (talk) 17:42, 2 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Edit warring at Dar es Salaam

[edit]

Your recent editing history at Dar es Salaam shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war. Being involved in an edit war can result in you being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you don't violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly.

To avoid being blocked, instead of reverting please consider using the article's talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. See BRD for how this is done. You can post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection. I think it's more normal to use a ground shot as the lead. And I don't agree the picture is bad. That said, thinking about it, that image is perfect for another place in the article. Adam Cuerden (talk) 10:33, 3 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, I'm Darkwind. I wanted to let you know that I removed an external link you added to the page Chaga people, because to me it seemed inappropriate for an encyclopedia. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page, or take a look at our guidelines about links. Thanks, —Darkwind (talk) 15:36, 22 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]
