Howdy

[edit]

Hi there, this is Kida5887 from your YALIT class. I thought your name was funny, so I decided to message you for this assignment. But enough about you, let's talk about me. Right now, I am getting jacked on coffee and doing homework. Ideally, I will get enough done so I can go for a run and play some guitar before I go to work. These are lofty ambitions. If you want to know the truth, I will probably fall asleep after my caffeine high wears off, and I will go into work fifteen minutes late looking like I just got robbed by a hooker. I'm sure that you are not interested in the petty details of my life, so I will spare you. For now, have a weekend filled with decadence and grandeur. Ciao. Hello there, Grapefr00t. I chose you for my wiki2 assignment because I think I know which one you are in the class. What do you think of the selection of novels this semester? Have you read any of them before? I've read Speak before, but the rest are new to me. I'm looking forward to them. I didn't know how much I would enjoy the class at first, but I really like it now. Everyone in the class is so fashionable, you being one of them. Isn't that strange? That almost all of us are striving to become high school English teachers, and dress fairly well (myself excluded)? It should be a fun few months. Rowenator (talk) 03:23, 30 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Hi there Grapefr00t! I'm a little late in doing so for YA Lit but just wanted to say hello and introduce myself. I'm Veganchic (talk) 05:36, 20 February 2012 (UTC) ! I hope you're having a great semester and look forward to working with you.[reply]

A userbox

[edit]

User:Koavf/Userboxes/Litbox You may have noticed this rectangle has been placed on your userpage:

IUPUI coursepage for Adolescent Lit

This is called a userbox and there are a variety of them that you can add to your userpage to express your interests, political values, dietary preferences, etc. You are not required to have one and there is virtually no limit to how many you can have.

I have placed this on your userpage because your instructor has informed me that some of you have had difficulty remembering or finding your coursepage. This link will be right here on your userpage unless you decide to remove it (which you can do at any time.) If you ever forget how to get to your class resources, just click on your username up in the top-right of the screen and you'll be just one more click away.

If you need to reach me (one of your two Campus Ambassadors), my contact information is here: User:Koavf/CA.

Please remember to pace yourself and be aware that 90% of writing a good article is well-formed prose and citing your sources. Anything extraneous or technical is where I can be of assistance. (And if you need help editing your prose or finding sources, I can try to give a hand there as well.)

I hope you all have a good day and a productive semester. I'll see some of you this coming Wednesday and any of you if you wish to schedule a time to meet. —Justin (koavf)TCM16:55, 8 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. When you recently edited Feed (Anderson novel), you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Credit (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.
