Help me!
August 2019
[edit]Hello, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. This is just a note to let you know that I've moved the draft that you were working on to Draft:John Kilner, from its old location at User:Guitargirl300/sandbox. This has been done because the Draft namespace is the preferred location for Articles for Creation submissions. Please feel free to continue to work on it there. If you have any questions about this, you are welcome to ask me on my talk page. Thank you. -Liancetalk/contribs 18:48, 28 August 2019 (UTC)

Please help me with... I submitted an article on John Kilner back in August. The note said it can take 4 months, and it's almost been 4 months now... any idea when this might get reviewed? Thanks for your help! :)

- Hi Guitargirl300, I'm Alfie. Please be aware that the Articles for Creation process is entirely volunteer-driven, and there's no deadline on reviewing AfC submissions. Please be patient, and somebody will get round to your article eventually! -- a they/them | argue | contribs 00:37, 12 December 2019 (UTC)

Just wanted to check, is the draft in the correct place to be reviewed for posting? Thanks! Guitargirl300 (talk) 17:28, 13 December 2019 (UTC)
Hello, I have edited my article on John F. Kilner, but I have no idea if it's in the right place to be reviewed again, can anyone tell? Also, does it go back in the general mix (where it can take up to 4 months to be reviewed), or will it likely be reviewed any sooner? Thanks so much for your help! re-reviewing and COI
[edit]I think Kilner is notable , and since in my opinion the article remains unsatisfactorily verbose and promotional , I am willing to either edit and accept it myself, or ask some other editor to do so. But before I do that, Since this is your only contribution, and since it is written in an unencyclopedic manner, it is reasonable to ask whether you are a connected contributor, in which case you must declare the connection. Please see our rules on Conflict of Interest If you are writing this for pay or as a staff member of the organization, see also WP:PAID for the necessary disclosures. I will review it as soon as you inform me that you have provided the necessary information . DGG ( talk ) 21:30, 26 December 2020 (UTC)
Hello, thank you for taking the time to keep looking this over, i really appreciate it! To answer your question yes, I am his daughter. I am working off factual information from his career which I have carefully footnoted, and I tried to model this article off of Wikipedia articles about other influential academics and theological ethicists. You are right—I have not written a Wikipedia article before, and I did not know you needed to know any author-subject connection if the article was well-footnoted/cited. Sorry! Will this somehow invalidate the article? Guitargirl300 (talk) 22:26, 27 December 2020 (UTC)
