I have declined your speedy deletion nomination on this, because it is no longer promotional in tone - since you tagged it, the author has removed the fluff about "a great read for any level of science fiction fan" etc. It may not meet the fairly demanding standard of WP:Notability (books), though - I haven't trawled trough all the references - so you could consider PROD or AfD. Hello! As I mentioned, you need to look at WP:ORG. That lists the criteria for inclusion of a company, but basically:

"An organization is generally considered notable if it has been the subject of significant coverage in reliable, independent secondary sources. Trivial or incidental coverage of a subject by secondary sources is not sufficient to establish notability. All content must be verifiable. If no independent, third-party, reliable sources can be found on a topic, then Wikipedia should not have an article on it."

There is more there about depth of coverage, audience, etc, but I really suggest you give it a read, and find the sources. The article is still marked as a candidate for deletion so rather than deleting the tag and ignoring it, you should look for sources and you can then add to the article, and >>here<< (which was on the tag you removed!). This is a School's IP adress and thus is shared, I apologize for the vandalisim but I wouldn't blame you for some kind of perma-block, the schools don't allow Wikipedia for research uses as it isn't considered a credible source due to the fact that anyone can edit it at any time, and so all edits from this IP are more than likely going to be vandalisim. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 204.8.12.66 (talk) 14:35, 30 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

This AfD was closed after the article author blanked the article and it was deleted per WP:CSD#G7. He has now re-created the article under a different title, so I have moved it back to the original title and re-opened the AfD. I am letting you know because you took part in it. Tatler

Hi Heywoodg - Your recent split of the Tatler page made sense, as they are different publications, but it had the unfortunate side effect of damaging hundreds of links. Most existing links to "Tatler" or "The Tatler" are referring to the current magazine, not the historical one, and any new such links are likely to all be to the current magazine. It seems to me it would be better to keep the article title "Tatler" for the current magazine, and come up with another article title for the older magazine. Copy-and-paste move

Information icon Hi, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you tried to give Tatler (1709) a different title by copying its content and pasting either the same content, or an edited version of it, into Tatler (1901). This is known as a "cut and paste move", and it is undesirable because it splits the page history, which is legally required for attribution. Instead, the software used by Wikipedia has a feature that allows pages to be moved to a new title together with their edit history.

In most cases, once your account is four days old and has ten edits, you should be able to move an article yourself using the "Move" tab at the top of the page. This both preserves the page history intact and automatically creates a redirect from the old title to the new. If you cannot perform a particular page move yourself this way (e.g. because a page already exists at the target title), please follow the instructions at requested moves to have it moved by someone else. Also, if there are any other pages that you moved by copying and pasting, even if it was a long time ago, please list them at Wikipedia:Cut and paste move repair holding pen. Thank you. Flags in European current templates

Hello there, I have been asked by another member of WPRL to widen the conversation on "Flags in European current templates", in the hope to gain a wider consensus. I imagine that this message may well never be read, dismissed, see me lose support, potentially gain some or take the discussion forwards. Please do take the time to read the discussion at Wikipedia_talk:WikiProject_Rugby_league#Flags_in_squad_templates if you can, but the crux of my position is that the flags are prevalent elsewhere, are consistent with usage by the MOS, and their implementation for their rugby league national squad/team or representative nationality, is in line with their intended purpose. The crux of the remove side would be an IP editor may interpret a flag as indication of birth, give too much credence to the nation, and the decision was made previously. To remove them from all rugby league templates when there is a limited conversation would seem more than a little unfair I would say, hence the attempt to reach out. I'm quite happy to voted down, but would appreciate a few more voices to the discussion, else it would seem quite wrong to move from the majority into the minority.Fleets (talk) 19:59, 13 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]
