Image source problem with Image:Iceman Parsons.jpg
[edit]Thanks for uploading Image:Iceman Parsons.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, their copyright should also be acknowledged.
As well as adding the source, please add a proper copyright licensing tag if the file doesn't have one already. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the GFDL-self tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Fair use, use a tag such as article name or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.
If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the image will be deleted 48 hours after 22:53, 10 August 2007 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Genisock2 22:53, 10 August 2007 (UTC)
Image tagging for Image:Theconcert.jpg
[edit]Thanks for uploading Image:Theconcert.jpg. The image has been identified as not specifying the source and creator of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. If you don't indicate the source and creator of the image on the image's description page, it may be deleted some time in the next seven days. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided source information for them as well.
For more information on using images, see the following pages:

Orphaned non-free media (Image:Theconcert.jpg)
[edit]Thanks for uploading Image:Theconcert.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BetacommandBot 14:47, 25 October 2007 (UTC)

Helpful tips for your editing
[edit]HEllo, I wanted to let you know that I reverted your edits on The Hinsons page. You must write the article in a non POV format and it must be cited and sourced. You cannot just place information in an article without having the proper proof to do so. I would suggest that you take time to review these guidelines and let them help you. If you should have any questions you may send me a message on my user talk page. I hope you will enjoy editing on wikipedia Canyouhearmenow 20:03, 4 February 2008 (UTC)

Copyright problems with File:Felder.jpg
[edit]Hello. Concerning your contribution, File:Felder.jpg, please note that Wikipedia cannot accept copyrighted text or images obtained from other web sites or printed material, without the permission of the author(s). This article or image appears to be a direct copy from http://www.tvweekonline.ca/joe_biz_blog/joe_biz_joe_leary_15. As a copyright violation, File:Felder.jpg appears to qualify for deletion under the speedy deletion criteria. File:Felder.jpg has been tagged for deletion, and may have been deleted by the time you see this message.
If you believe that the article or image is not a copyright violation, or if you have permission from the copyright holder to release the content freely under the GNU Free Documentation License (GFDL) then you should do one of the following:
- If you have permission from the author, leave a message explaining the details at Talk:File:Felder.jpg and send an email with the message to "permissions-en (at) wikimedia (dot) org". See Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission for instructions.
- If a note on the original website states that re-use is permitted under the GFDL or released into the public domain leave a note at Talk:File:Felder.jpg with a link to where we can find that note.
- If you hold the copyright to the material: send an e-mail from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en(at)wikimedia(dot)org or a postal message to the Wikimedia Foundation permitting re-use under the GFDL, and note that you have done so on Talk:File:Felder.jpg.
However, for textual content, you may simply consider rewriting the content in your own words. Thank you. 72.88.70.189 (talk) 04:49, 7 January 2009 (UTC)

[edit]Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. Please don't forget to provide an edit summary for your edits. Thank you. Please also don't link every single word, like you did in Electric Barnyard. Only include relevant links. The same word doesn't need to be linked more than once, and don't leave a red link unless the link is likely to become an article. File:Cledus T Judd.jpg
[edit]Hi, you need to provide a fair use rationale for the use of this image, though it needs to be linked to an article first. If this is not provided, the image may well be deleted in, I think, 7 days. If you link it to an article, I'll be happy to do the fair use rationale for you. The article King Parsons has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
- BLP unreferenced for almost five years. Spammy; like a resume.
While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the dated prod
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing dated prod
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Bearian (talk) 18:47, 29 January 2010 (UTC)
The file File:Iceman King Parsons.jpg has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
Seems not to be a self-made work. I find an uncropped version on the internet http://www.ultimateosnews.com/img/iceman-king-parsons-03.html, and nothing tells me it is without copyright.
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the file's talk page.
Please consider addressing the issues raised. Removing
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and files for discussion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
This bot DID NOT nominate any file(s) for deletion; please refer to the page history of each individual file for details. Thanks, FastilyBot (talk) 01:00, 20 December 2019 (UTC)
