Welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to contribute to the encyclopedia, but when you add or change content, as you did to the article Progressive creationism, please cite a reliable source for the content of your edit. This helps maintain our policy of verifiability. Take a look at Wikipedia:Citing sources for information about how to cite sources and the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. Soourse

[edit]

As source has to obey the ruels of wikipedia to be used. Your source appears to fail SPS so cannot be used unles you make it clear that its that pesons opinion only. That requires a re-write of the text. Also as the page it not about him it may also fail undue. I would also warn you that you mat be in breach of 3RR. Take this to the talk page before re-instating.Slatersteven (talk) 18:53, 2 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

3RR

[edit]

Hello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you must sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You may also click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you. --SineBot (talk) 19:14, 2 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

NPA

[edit]

Please refrain from personal attacks they are against policy (please see WP:NPA). You can get reported for such actions.Slatersteven (talk) 19:25, 2 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Progressive creationism. Users who edit disruptively or refuse to collaborate with others may be blocked if they continue. In particular the three-revert rule states that making more than three reversions on a single page within a 24-hour period is almost always grounds for an immediate block. If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the talk page to discuss controversial changes. Work towards wording and content that gains consensus among editors. If unsuccessful, then do not edit war even if you believe you are right. Post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If edit warring continues, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. jps (talk) 20:11, 2 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Personal Attacks

[edit]

I caution you from making personal attacks as you did in this edit. I can appreciate your passion for the subject matter, but now might be a good time to take a step back and have a cup of tea before you continue the discussion. Thank you. Erikeltic (Talk) 20:40, 2 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

You'r right, I apologize to Slatersteven for having insulted him. I say this not because I fear being blocked but because it was wrong. And I will look for RS, but this will take time because divine fertilisation is the belief of a minority. Huldreich (talk) 21:34, 2 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]
If I may, I'd recommend a commentary by a non-creationist who noticed that this was their belief. That would be a good ironclad independent source. jps (talk) 21:36, 2 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Take your time and don't feel rushed. There is no deadline. Take a little time to review the rules regarding tiny minority views and reliable sources. They will help you get a better grasp on the main objections to the material you are adding. Politely and neutrally ask for a bit of help finding coverage and good citations on the article talk page. There are also a few WikiProjects that may be able to help find decent sources. The religion, Christianity, and alternative views projects would be good places to ask for help finding reliable sources that discuss the view. Cheers! I am looking in forums and asking on creationist sites but this will take months... I'll also try out your suggestions, thanks. Huldreich (talk) 16:46, 8 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]
