[edit]Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. When you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion (but never when editing articles), please be sure to sign your posts. There are two ways to do this. Either:
- Add four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment; or
- With the cursor positioned at the end of your comment, click on the signature button ( or ) located above the edit window.
This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is necessary to allow other editors to easily see who wrote what and when.

About Real Madrid's page
[edit]Hi,
Here are things I changed and why:
1) Although Diego Lopez was sold and reference was given, it shouldn't be there on Real Madrid's main page. If you see the flow, it contains details from 1902-2014. And selling of Diego Lopez was minor thing, and hence it is mentioned in 2014–15 Real Madrid C.F. season, not on Real Madrid's main page.
2) Although there were 4 El Clasico's in that period in 2010-11, there is no need of mentioning details of each Clasico when results of them are already mentioned above. For details, you have 2010–11 Real Madrid C.F. season page.
When football fans wishes to read all details, they can check those particular season's details on those pages. And normal readers, who are reading Real Madrid's page, need not know in this much details. See Wikipedia standards for pages.

Fair enough, I will try to eradicate minor details from other Spanish football pages to maintain uniformity. - Imperial HRH2 (talk) 08:10, 27 December 2014 (UTC)
Feature Status for Real Madrid

History of Real Madrid
[edit]History of Real Madrid article is terribly outdated, can you help in updating it? and the grammar on Estadio Santiago Bernabéu is a long way below expected standards on Wikipedia - sybest 09:13, 14 February 2015 (UTC). — Preceding unsigned comment added by Sybest 7 7 (talk • contribs)
- Ok, I'll try. Imperial HRH2 (talk) 11:55, 14 February 2015 (UTC)
Didier Drogba
[edit]Hello!
I see you are a member of Wikipedia:WikiProject Football and can maybe help me.
I have changed the honours of Diders Drogbas profile similar to Messis, Ronaldos, and Rooneys profile with Chelsea FC.com as source but a user has removed it with Wikipedia:Other stuff exists as his only explanation.
And the rule says: "When used correctly, these comparisons are important as the encyclopedia should be consistent in the content that it provides or excludes. Trouble arises when legitimate comparisons are disregarded without thought or consideration of the Wikipedia:Five pillars."
I don´t think my changes brach against the Wikipedia:Five pillars. Can you please look at this and decide what is right. Chelsea-fan1 (talk) 15:24, 12 March 2015 (UTC)
- Hello, what the person who reverted your edit probably means is that since there is already a reliable source, there is no need to replace it with another source. Both of you could be correct in this scenario. I don't see why this is a big deal but if it really bothers you, then just discuss it on the article's talk page. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Invite to the African Destubathon
[edit]Hi. You may be interested in participating in the African Destubathon which starts on October 15. Africa currently has over 37,000 stubs and badly needs a quality improvement editathon/contest to flesh out basic stubs. There are proposed substantial prizes to give to editors who do the most articles, and planned smaller prizes for doing to most destubs for each of the 53 African countries, so should be enjoyable! So it would be a good chance to win something for improving stubs on African sportspeople, including footballers, athletes, Olympians and Paralympians etc, particularly female ones, but also male. Even if contests aren't your thing we would be grateful if you could consider destubbing a few African articles during the drive to help the cause and help reduce the massive 37,000 + stub count, of which many are rated high importance (think Regions of countries etc). If you're interested in competing or just loosely contributing a few expanded articles on African Paralympians, Olympians and committees etc, please add your name to the Contestants/participants section. Diversity of work from a lot of people will make this that bit more special. Thanks. --MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 21:13, 6 October 2016 (UTC)

[edit]Wasn't incoherent, just wordy. I had to find all those citations because the line "regarded by many" wasn't taken verbatim. Draper235 (talk) 15:53, 7 June 2017 (UTC)
- @Draper235: Sorry for reverting you edit, but this reflects the consensus the Football Community editors reached a few years ago.Imperial HRH2 (talk) 16:01, 7 June 2017 (UTC)
- Your continued disregard for WP:V is becoming disruptive. The threshold for inclusion for a WP:BLP is high. It is WP:Original research to cite a handful of people saying, "I think dogs are better than cats," and then extrapolate a supposed majority opinion from that. If writers, managers and players indeed widely consider a player the greatest of all time (whatever that means), then there will be sources that make that observation. If not, then you cannot add it to the article. Prayer for the wild at heart (talk) 16:43, 7 June 2017 (UTC)
- @Prayer for the wild at heart:Sources have been added now, but regarding your Lionel Messi article, your continued disregard for WP:V is becoming disruptive. The threshold for inclusion for a WP:BLP is high. Leads do not include injury details. In fact injury details are not even included in most full articles, but if you so insist on including a 7 day injury during a random season, feel free to add it under the season's article, further down the page.
