Kruti Mahesh (choreographer) moved to draftspace

[edit]

An article you recently created, Kruti Mahesh (choreographer), is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. CUPIDICAE💕 19:17, 23 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]

were you planning to update the article? you had some good arguments, but we needed the other issues sorted out first Oaktree b (talk) 20:04, 4 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
@Oaktree b Administrator moved this article to draftspace even he stated that Mahesh is probably notable. Kruti is notable according to her reliable sources and her notable awards. So why article is not suitable for mainspace?. An article Aakanksha Sareen i created recently also deleted but i agree Aakanksha is probably non notable and i have no objection with the administrator’s decision but in the case of kruti i am not agree with the decision. By the way what are the issues we needed to sort out?

IndaneLove (talk) 06:40, 5 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]

and yes i wanted to update the article with the sources suggested by Beccaynr. IndaneLove (talk) 06:44, 5 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]

You're welcome to take it to Deletion Review. Given that multple editors think it needs work by an independent editor in draft space, that would probably be the best outcome. Star Mississippi 13:59, 5 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
@User:Star Mississippi, So where are they multiple editors who think article needs work. Why haven’t they improved the article yet? Aren’t they independent? It’s very easy to ignore someone’s effort but fact is that they don’t have some minutes to work on the the article.

IndaneLove (talk) 16:05, 5 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Let's see, there's @Praxidicae above you. I'm reading @Oaktree b's we needed the other issues sorted out as well as their comments in the AfD to mean there are unresolved issues as well as @Timtrent and @Beccaynr;s in the AfD.
Why haven’t they improved the article yet? because we're volunteers and there are no articles we're mandated to work on, nor are there deadlines. Regardless of whether you're paid, you're an SPA with a likely conflict of interest. If you want to be proved wrong, go edit in another subject area. As I said, you're welcome to use DRV, but the consensus was absolutely clear Star Mississippi 16:34, 5 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
The SPA was was the "other issues we needed sorted out", not sure it's been resolved yet. Oaktree b (talk) 16:52, 5 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
I have no interest in this draft. The onus is on the creating editor and/or the submitter for review to proved that any subject passes WP:BIO/WP:GNG. If I had any interest in it I might choose work in it. I do not, so I do not.
Those who have the most success om Wikipedia get on with work quietly, prove notability, create successful articles and move on to the next. While it may be disheartening to appear to have work wasted you have, so far, shown us successfully and positively that this topic does not meet notability standards. That work is not wasted. @Star Mississippi, I am sure you will agree with that sentiment, though feel free to disagree. 🇺🇦 FiddleTimtrent FaddleTalk to me 🇺🇦 16:59, 5 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
@Timtrent I agree, although I do still have some concerns around conduct (so yeah @Oaktree b, me too). I have little to no interest in television/film and their characters, so I don't much work on them. But the subject is very likely notable and the article could be fixed with a focus on the issues that were identified and help from interested but not involved editors. That said, happy to have my decision reviewed if @IndaneLove believes I misread consensus. It's within their right. Star Mississippi 17:14, 5 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
@Star Mississippi You may wish to look at the identically named segment at the current foot of this page. It is unsigned, and may be so because it has an identical title.
I agree that conduct has my antennae twitching. A lot of involvement by any editor with unusually poor articles always does that. 🇺🇦 FiddleTimtrent FaddleTalk to me 🇺🇦 17:38, 5 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for flagging. That was me and looks like the move to draft script run amok. From my read of the history, Prax draftified this, IndaneLove moved it back and @Hatchens AfDed it, which I closed. Alas a grey SPI doesn't clear up SPA/COI and the editor continues to dance around it. Our antennae are likely accurate, sadly @Timtrent Star Mississippi 17:46, 5 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
@Star Mississippi in opaque cases I often ask, as I am now, for the opinion of Celestina007, who has a unique perspective on matters like this and can often clear things up one was or the other by dint of diligent research. They usually work on Nigerian issues, but often welcome a pleasant diversion. 🇺🇦 FiddleTimtrent FaddleTalk to me 🇺🇦 17:52, 5 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]

For some time now I have been harassed by many allegations against me. but yes i respect the wikipedia guidelines and maybe all this is happening for the something best. IndaneLove (talk) 17:54, 5 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]

You are not being harassed. What is taking place is an effort to weigh evidence and reach a conclusion, one way or another. Please understand that any Wikipedia editor may face this type of effort, from the "greatest" to the "least", which I say with caution since we are all equal.
I can tell you clearly that you are exhibiting behaviours which are causing eyebrows to be raised. We are duty bound to assume good faith, and I continue to assume it. That does not counter-indicate a desire to check. We are also duty bound to check.
Assuming all is well there is nothing to be concerned about, so, since you state that all is well, please be unconcerned. 🇺🇦 FiddleTimtrent FaddleTalk to me 🇺🇦 18:05, 5 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Hello IndaneLove. The nature of your edits, such as the one you made to Kruti Mahesh (choreographer), gives the impression you have an undisclosed financial stake in promoting a topic, but you have not complied with Wikipedia's mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements. Paid advocacy is a category of conflict of interest (COI) editing that involves being compensated by a person, group, company or organization to use Wikipedia to promote their interests. Undisclosed paid advocacy is prohibited by our policies on neutral point of view and what Wikipedia is not, and is an especially serious type of COI; the Wikimedia Foundation regards it as a "black hat" practice akin to black-hat search-engine optimization.

Paid advocates are very strongly discouraged from direct article editing, and should instead propose changes on the talk page of the article in question if an article exists. If the article does not exist, paid advocates are extremely strongly discouraged from attempting to write an article at all. At best, any proposed article creation should be submitted through the articles for creation process, rather than directly.

Regardless, if you are receiving or expect to receive compensation for your edits, broadly construed, you are required by the Wikimedia Terms of Use to disclose your employer, client and affiliation. You can post such a mandatory disclosure to your user page at User:IndaneLove. The template {{Paid}} can be used for this purpose – e.g. in the form: {{paid|user=IndaneLove|employer=InsertName|client=InsertName}}. If I am mistaken – you are not being directly or indirectly compensated for your edits – please state that in response to this message. Otherwise, please provide the required disclosure. In either case, do not edit further until you answer this message. 🇺🇦 FiddleTimtrent FaddleTalk to me 🇺🇦 06:59, 19 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]

@User:Timtrent No, with the grace of god i am not under any compulsion that i have to earn money from Wikipedia so this is false allegation.

IndaneLove (talk) 05:35, 21 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Your answer is not direct. Please give a direct answer. It is not an allegation, it is a question, no more and no less.
Wikipedia requires a simple yes or no answer, please 🇺🇦 FiddleTimtrent FaddleTalk to me 🇺🇦 20:16, 21 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
