News from the diamond A new-look Australian baseball league could be up and running in time for Summer 2010 The 2009 World Cup looms on the horizon... Can Australia improve from their 2007 attempt, their best ever result of 5th? From the Editor This 1st edition doesn't have a whole lot in it, as you can see. At this stage its more of a call to action than anything else: anyone wanting to help out the task force is more than welcome to join in. Even if you don't feel you have something you can contribute, please spread the word to others who might. My intention is to try and put this out once a quarter or so at this stage - assuming anyone's interested in receiving it. If things pick up and there's plenty to put into the newsletter, then it might come out a little more often. The only people that received this who have not specifically requested it are people listed as members of the task force itself. To those people: I'll move you guys to an 'inactive' list if I don't hear back one way or the other, and you won't keep receiving the newsletter after this- I'm using this to poke those that are still active into coming by the task force pages every once in a while.
