SVIT
[edit]Hi there,
Good work on the SVIT article! You have put in a lot of effort into it. I appreciate it. There are however, a few things that you should know.
- First of all, Wikipedia is Not a "Contact Us" page. I understand why you would want to put email addresses on the page, but I am sorry, Wikipedia is not the right place to do that. I have removed the email addresses as per Wikipedia policy.
- The tone of the article as well as the language itself need some improvement. There are some other inconsistencies too, which need fixing. I intend to keep on updating and cleaning up the article as I find the time. You might however find it useful to have someone more fluent in English proofread the article for you as well.
- Some of the statements in the article are unsourced and of the kind that are hard to substantiate. They might be removed to improve the quality of the article. To avoid that, you might want to provide the sources for the statements.
- If you are currently a student/employee of SVIT (which I am sure you are), your continued edits to the article
mightDO cause a Conflict Of Interest, and you might be asked to limit your edits.

Tone of the article - SVIT.
[edit]Thank you for your efforts for expanding the SVIT article. But the tone of the article suggests that it has been written expressing ownership about the article, as evident in the usage of phrases like 'our college', 'excellent faculty', 'unique course like aeronautical'. Though the claims may be true, but are very subjective. Hence a change in the overall tone of the article is required. I will keep changing the tone to a more neutral one as I find time to do so.
Also AICTE links, mentioning the approved courses was missing from the article. I have added the latest links mentioning the approved courses. Thanks for uploading File:The SVIT Official Logo.jpg. I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the file agreed to license it under the given license.
If you created this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either
- make a note permitting reuse under the CC-BY-SA or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or
- Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-enwikimedia.org, stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license. WikiProject India Tag & Assess 2012 Contest
[edit]Hello friends, we are a number of editors from WikiProject India have got together to assess the many thousands of articles under the stewardship of the project, and we'd love to have you, a fellow member, join us. These articles require assessment, that is, the addition of a WikiProject template to the talk page of an article, assessing it for quality and importance and adding a few extra parameters to it.
As of March 11, 2012, 07:00 UTC, WikiProject India has 95,998 articles under its stewardship. Of these 13,980 articles are completely unassessed (both for class and importance) and another 42,415 articles are unassessed for importance only. Accordingly, a Tag & Assess 2012 drive-cum-contest has begun from March 01, 2012 to last till May 31, 2012.
If you are new to assessment, you can learn the minimum about how to evaluate from Part One of the Assessment Guide. Part Two of the Guide will help you learn to employ the full functionality of the talk page template, should you choose to do so.
You can sign up on the Tag & Assess page. There are a number of awards to be given in recognition of your efforts. Come & join us to take part in this exciting new venture. You'll learn more about India in this way.

You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. The file File:Edge U Cator Logo.jpg has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
Unused logo with no article used, it's also can't move to commons because of an unused logo will be deleted as of out of project scope.
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated files}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the file's talk page.
Please consider addressing the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated files}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and files for discussion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
