Speedy deletion nomination of Oratto
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Oratto, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. Kleuske (talk) 12:26, 13 December 2016 (UTC)

[edit]Hello, JamesABooker. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places, or things you have written about in the article Oratto, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a COI may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic, and it is important when editing Wikipedia articles that such connections be completely transparent. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. In particular, we ask that you please:
- avoid editing or creating articles related to you and your family, friends, school, company, club, or organization, as well as any competing companies' projects or products;
- instead, you are encouraged to propose changes on the Talk pages of affected article(s) (see the {{request edit}} template);
- when discussing affected articles, disclose your COI (see WP:DISCLOSE);
- avoid linking to the Wikipedia article or to the website of your organization in other articles (see WP:SPAM);
- exercise great caution so that you do not violate Wikipedia's content policies.
In addition, you must disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation (see WP:PAID).
Please take a few moments to read and review Wikipedia's policies regarding conflicts of interest, especially those pertaining to neutral point of view, sourcing and autobiographies. Thank you. Kleuske (talk) 12:26, 13 December 2016 (UTC)
Oratto page
[edit]Hi Kleuske,
I've looked at your comments and do not feel that there is a conflict of interest at all as I do not work for Oratto. I believe that the Oratto platform is an interesting proposition and offers a valuable resource to those looking for legal information; and would make a great entry into the Wikipedia encyclopedia.
I have also looked through the criteria for speedy deletion and will look at rewriting portions of the Oratto Wiki page text to address any issues that are currently afflicting the page.
I would be grateful if you could get back to me and let me know how best to proceed.

Zenon Sosnowski moved to draftspace
[edit]An article you recently created, Zenon Sosnowski, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs to show it meets WP:PROF. I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:
" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Managing a conflict of interest
[edit]Hello, JamesABooker. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about on the page Zenon Sosnowski, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:
- avoid editing or creating articles about yourself, your family, friends, colleagues, company, organization, clients, or competitors;
- propose changes on the talk pages of affected articles (you can use the {{edit COI}} template);
- disclose your conflict of interest when discussing affected articles (see Wikipedia:Conflict of interest § How to disclose a COI);
- avoid linking to your organization's website in other articles (see Wikipedia:Spam § External link spamming);
- do your best to comply with Wikipedia's content policies.
In addition, you are required by the Wikimedia Foundation's terms of use to disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation. See Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure.
Also, editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Thank you. DoubleGrazing (talk) 14:27, 24 November 2023 (UTC)
- The group of companies I work for utilize Dr. Sosnowski's propolis extracts in our products. However all information presented is factual, and should not be considered advertising. JamesABooker (talk) 14:33, 24 November 2023 (UTC)
- Thank you. The above disclosure template is in the wrong place, I will move that shortly where it belongs.
- I was just about to take the article to an Articles for Deletion (AfD) discussion, as it isn't ready to be published. However, given your disclosure, this now means you shouldn't have moved it into the article space yourself at all, and therefore rather than opening a deletion discussion I will move it back to drafts; that gives you an opportunity to work on it further. -- DoubleGrazing (talk) 14:42, 24 November 2023 (UTC)
Zenon Sosnowski moved to draftspace
[edit]Thanks for your contributions to Zenon Sosnowski. Unfortunately, I do not think it is ready for publishing at this time because it needs more sources to establish notability, you may have a possible Conflict of Interest and the article needs to be better supported by referencing. I have converted your article to a draft which you can improve, undisturbed for a while.
Please see more information at Help:Unreviewed new page. When the article is ready for publication, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page OR move the page back. DoubleGrazing (talk) 14:44, 24 November 2023 (UTC)
- Thank you DoubleGrazing. I recognise that it may be perceived as a potential COI however Dr. Sosnowski's works are important and have led the way into further propolis based research. We will continue to work on this and will try to bring this up to a standard that is publishable.JamesABooker (talk) 14:48, 24 November 2023 (UTC)
- Fine. COI arises from your relationship with the subject, not from whether the subject is notable.
- I have moved your COI disclosure to the artcle/draft talk page, trust you're happy with that?
- I have not submitted the draft for review, I will leave that for you to do as and when you're ready. I have restored the earlier AfC comments as a reminder of what needs to be improved before this draft can be accepted.
