It appears that you have been canvassing—leaving messages on a biased choice of users' talk pages to notify them of an ongoing community decision, debate, or vote. While friendly notices are allowed, they should be limited and nonpartisan in distribution and should reflect a neutral point of view. Please do not post notices which are indiscriminately cross-posted, which espouse a certain point of view or side of a debate, or which are selectively sent only to those who are believed to hold the same opinion as you. Remember to respect Wikipedia's principle of consensus-building by allowing decisions to reflect the prevailing opinion among the community at large. Thank you. Noted. It is one editor, not a plurality, and If you read the discussion you will notice the the editor is neither biased or partisan to this topic User talk:WhatamIdoing#A voice of reason JamieBrown2011 (talk) 07:24, 29 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
The message you left for them certainly wasn't neutral though. Cordless Larry (talk) 08:42, 29 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for highlighting this. I will take a closer look at my edit, but I believe I did put the two sentences in double quotation marks here. This is also a tiny portion of the source. Am I missing something?</nowiki>JamieBrown2011 (talk) 08:33, 9 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

It appears that you have been canvassing—leaving messages on a biased choice of users' talk pages to notify them of an ongoing community decision, debate, or vote—in order to influence Talk:International Churches of Christ . Thank you. You inappropriately canvassed WhatamIdoing to Talk:International Churches of Christ#NPOV in your edit at Special:Diff/1246354903. Please do not continue to engage in this behaviour. TarnishedPathtalk 03:30, 19 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

So firstly you should read your policies Wikipedia:APPNOTE before making this kind of silly and childish post. The editor has previous involvement and the language was neutral. Also, this is the second time I am requesting you to stop following me around Wikipedia Wikipedia:HOUNDING . JamieBrown2011 (talk) 13:44, 19 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Per WP:INAPPNOTE, your canvassing was inappropriate as it was selective. If your canvassing was to be appropriate you ought to have notified ALL prevoiusly involved editors, which you clearly did not. As per your accuation that I am following your arround, it is clearly apparent that I was already involved in the section where you inappropriately canvassed the editor. In fact I was notified by your comment because I am subscribbed to that thread and have been since I first commented on it. This is the third time now that I've commented on your inappropriate canvassing. I suggest you cease inappropriately canvassing editors. TarnishedPathtalk 23:19, 19 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Do you even read these policies? It is acceptable if it is “limited and neutral”. Which is why your previous accusations failed as much as this one has. You are barking up the wrong tree mate. JamieBrown2011 (talk) 01:37, 20 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Yes I did read it. You need to dial back your incivil behaviour. You have clearly notified one editor and one editor alone from a discussion elsewhere. Given you have written that the editor is "a much needed voice of reason" in that same discussion it is clear that this is WP:VOTESTACKING. I'm advising you that it's inappropriate and requesting that you discontinue the behaviour. If you want to engage in WP:IDHT that's on you. TarnishedPathtalk 03:02, 20 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
