Request reason:
I was involved in a Wikithon on 1 December 2018 to improve Wikipedia articles on Singaporean literature. Regretfully, we could have followed Wikipedia wikithon procedures better, and thus I was flagged as a sock puppet by Bbb23. (We actually did contact a Singapore Wikipedia editor but they did not respond before our scheduled Wikithon.) Please note this account has been used to edit other articles prior to 1 December 2018, and in other subject areas not pertaining to Singapore literature, evidence pointing to this account *not* being a sock puppet. Also see the unblock request from our coordinator. JayDubYewHo (talk) 07:21, 7 January 2019 (UTC)
Accept reason:
Based on multiple discussions, including on my Talk page, I have unblocked you. Bbb23 (talk) 16:58, 11 January 2019 (UTC)
Hi, I'm RonBot, a script that checks new non-free file uploads. I have found that the subject image that you recently uploaded was more than 5% in excess of the Non-free content guideline size of 100,000 pixels. I have tagged the image for a standard reduction, which (for jpg/gif/png/svg files) normally happens within a day. Please check the reduced image, and make sure that the image is not excessively corrupted. Other files will be added to Category:Wikipedia non-free file size reduction requests for manual processing. There is a full seven-day period before the original oversized image will be hidden; during that time you might want to consider editing the original image yourself (perhaps an initial crop to allow a smaller reduction or none at all). A formula for calculation the desired size can be found at WP:Image resolution, along with instructions on how to tag the image in the rare cases that it requires an oversized image (typically about 0.2% of non-free uploads are tagged as necessarily oversized). Please contact the bot owner if you have any questions, or you can ask them at Wikipedia talk:Non-free content. See User:RonBot for info on how to not get these messages. A page you started (Faith Ng) has been reviewed!
[edit]Thanks for creating Faith Ng.
I have just reviewed the page, as a part of our page curation process and note that:
While the second sentence of the lead would be fine in a critical reception section (or just in the Biography section), it's a bit too promotional a sentence for the lead (although I'd say it would be appropriate to mention that her work portrays Singaporean life).
To reply, leave a comment here and prepend it with {{Re|Rosguill}}
. And, don't forget to sign your reply with ~~~~

Request reason:
A year on from the last time I was blocked due to a resolved misunderstanding arising from a wikithon, I am still unable to edit Wiki articles. JayDubYewHo (talk) 07:29, 29 March 2020 (UTC)
Decline reason:
Procedural decline only; this account is not directly blocked. If you are unable to edit, please exactly follow the instructions which appear when you attempt to do so. Yamla (talk) 10:35, 29 March 2020 (UTC)
If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.
