Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, one or more of the external links you added such as to the page Vehicle tracking system do not comply with our guidelines for external links and have been removed. Wikipedia is not a collection of links; nor should it be used for advertising or promotion, and doing so is contrary to the goals of this project. Since Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, external links do not alter search engine rankings. If you feel the link should be added to the article, please discuss it on the article's talk page before reinserting it. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. —Mr. E. Sánchez (that's me!)What I Do / What I Say 03:51, 11 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, Mr Sanchez, noted on your concern about advertising on Wikipedia. I agree with you that Wikipedia should not a collection of links for business promotion only. However, I believe that the portion I have contributed to the article such as to the page Vehicle tracking system with the header "Non-conventional uses" is legitimate and useful as there have been cases of tracking system being used beyond the common uses being described here. The external links I have provided is an example of a non-conventional use that I described. I believe that my contribution to the article adds to the understanding of the article as real people in the industries look at increasingly more creative ways to harness the power of vehicle tracking system for their uses. I trust that readers are discerning enough to see that my example, although a commercial one, serves to illustrate my point. Thank you. Joaquin the Manc 16:02, 30 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]
