A dispute

Strange encounter with Wikipedia procedure. I wonder if it's a common thing for other native symbols?

You have accused me several times of "blocking" discussion on the matter. I have done no such thing. You are again invited to discuss the matter on this talk page, and if other users agree with you that File:Tino Rangatiratanga Maori sovereignty movement flag.svg is wrong, we will fix it. This isn't a fight, it really is very simple, but instead you have chosen to just keep reverting back to your file and accusing me of not being "one of us" so that I have no right to question your claims. Fry1989That link for discussion is new, when I've gone to talk to you it says you aren't taking any more requests? I've posted an example of what I'm certain is better example of our proper flag on your page. I've been wondering why many reproductions seem a bit off and I believe it's because people are sourcing it from this one I've been trying to update on the Tino Rangatiratanga Wikipedia entry. Being Maori and being a design geek I know how easy it is to correct the design file to a fine degree with today's tools. To recreate a uniform koru pattern and to replicate a darker shade of red. I want to provide another .svg so anyone can reproduce it easily to any size. I think it is best if only the people who fought for it are acknowledged too. Jonathan, you're going to have to make your case not on someone's talk page, but on the page Fry1989 indicated. That notice on my talk page means that I am not currently taking any image requests from other users on the Graphic Lab, I'm not making flags or other images for other users at this time. It doesn't mean I will not discuss things with users, I am very open to discussing the Tino Rangatiratanga flag and I have invited you several times to do so and I have given you the link twice to where such a discussion should take place. This does not have to be a fight, we can easily talk about this and if the original file is wrong we can fix it. I am not sure your link proves that the original file is wrong, it may be but we have to figure that out and the only way we can is by discussing it on the proper talk page and looking for other sources and finding out what the truth is. One thing about this place is that it works on contributors being able to back up anything they add. In the case of the Tino Rangatiratanga flag, what would be best is if you can find an official specification for the flag - its dimensions and colour values, in particular. The colour of your flag is better than Fry's, but Fry's flag's arcs are better drawn - why don't the two of you work together to create a flag that both of you prefer?
Anyway I hope you keep on editing here and enjoy being a Wikipedian.

Kia ora. Yes, I'll go over those links thanks. Wikipedia is great, it would be neat if wysiwyg became a standard. Being maori and a design snob I'll have to disagree, traditional carvers achieved uniform design patterns and modern tools can do this easily. I'll find out the exact specifications, Cheers.
