Writing an article about your father would be a clear conflict of interest. This is strongly discouraged, but not entirely forbidden. If you still want to write about your father, I recommend that you first spend some time editing other areas of Wikipedia where you don't have a conflict of interest, so you can get a sense of Wikipedia's policies and standards. jlwoodwa (talk) 00:31, 24 July 2024 (UTC)
