Your recent contributions
[edit]Hello, I wanted to notify you why I partially undid you recent contributions.
As for this edit, I thought about it as vandalism when I undone it, because from the diff it was apparent it wasn't just changing "prior to" to "before". I rethinked my opinion, I think you just made a mistake. In any case, it is really helpful to review if your edit doesn't contain any mistakes. (I personally found and fixed mistakes in my edits many times.) As for changing "prior to" to "before", it is unnecessary, and you should avoid making unnecessary simplifications to wording.
As for your recent edits to Constitution of Japan, they are mostly unnecessary simplifications to the wording. What I can agree with you is that you changed "charter" to "constitution" and that "to invest somebody with power" is maybe a too complicated phrase, but as for the latter, "to make somebody have power" doesn't sound as a right alternative. Your link to the article about Manchurian Incident is useful, but the link to Potsdam Declaration is not, as it was already linked from the previous sentence. See MOS:DL.
Don't take this message as a warning, I just wanted to explain my rationale for partial reverting of your edits, so you can improve Wikipedia later.
