Welcome!
[edit]Welcome to Wikipedia, Katheb246! I am Rosiestep and have been editing Wikipedia for quite some time. Thank you for your contributions. I just wanted to say hi and welcome you to Wikipedia! If you have any questions check out Wikipedia:Questions, or feel free to leave me a message on my talk page or type {{helpme}} at the bottom of this page. I love to help new users, so don't be afraid to leave a message! I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are some pages that you might find helpful:
- Introduction
- The five pillars of Wikipedia
- How to edit a page
- Help pages
- How to write a great article
I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Also, when you post on talk pages you should sign your name using four tildes (~~~~); that should automatically produce your username and the date after your post. Again, welcome!

US Public Policy Wikipedia Project, in a class called Transnational NGOs in World Affairs
[edit]Hi Katie! Yes, I'll be your online ambassador. Please drop me a line on my talk page again when you start editing so I can check how things are going. Also, you can ask me any questions about how to edit. Cheers, --Rosiestep (talk) 23:33, 29 March 2011 (UTC)
Chad–Cameroon Petroleum Development and Pipeline Project
[edit]Hi Katie. I reviewed Chad–Cameroon Petroleum Development and Pipeline Project and yes, this one would benefit from some attention. Some of the WP:WORDS ("controversial"; "plagued by"; "stripped") need clean-up and/or inline citation. If there were NGOs involved with the project, then by all means add that info using inline citations. I've watchlisted the page so I can see when you start working on it, and I'll give you feedback. I think Energy Task Force would be ok to work on as the Talk page hasn't had activity since 2009. I've watchlisted this page, too. I think you're ready to just go for it! --Rosiestep (talk) 02:33, 4 April 2011 (UTC)
Hey there Katie! I'll take a look at your edits right now. --Rosiestep (talk) 01:13, 25 April 2011 (UTC)
Expansion looks great! You've done a lot of research. References need work though I haven't doublechecked if you added them or if they were in the article already. I'll do some fixes right now, then I'll leave you another note here, and then see if you can follow my lead with changes. --Rosiestep (talk) 01:24, 25 April 2011 (UTC)
I made a few ref edits; I hope they were helpful. I have to scoot right now, but will look again at this article in the next 24 hours. --Rosiestep (talk) 01:44, 25 April 2011 (UTC)
The pleural of an acronym, i.e. CD-ROM, NGO, etc., doesn't take an apostrophe, so CD-ROMs, NGOs rather than CD-ROM's or NGO's. For further info, see WP:MOS. --Rosiestep (talk) 03:31, 25 April 2011 (UTC)
Energy Task Force
[edit]Hi Kathe. You are on a roll! Suggestions: Create wikilinks for Spencer Abraham, United States Secretary of Energy, Friends of the Earth (US), The Washington Post, National Mining Association. Newspaper and book names should be between two apostrophe marks: ". Use acronym NEPDG or "Energy Task Force" after first use of official article. If info will be added to the Meetings section soon, keep the header, otherwise, delete it for the time being. Let me know if you have any questions about these suggestions, or anything else! --Rosiestep (talk) 02:46, 26 April 2011 (UTC)
