Shopnaw

[edit]

Hey, I saw you re-submitted Shopnaw for review. I hope it goes through, but if it doesn't I'll try to re-write it myself and publish it because the company definitely looks notable, the only problem is the promotional way in which you wrote it (which I do give you credit for trying to fix after my feedback on the Teahouse).

I'm just trying to feel out the situation. You uploaded a pic of the delivery people waiting to depart for the day. This looks like a picture only someone who actually works at the company would be able to take. Are you affiliated with the company at all? Hillelfrei talk 15:46, 7 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Hillelfrei, I really appreciate your assistance. It's a work of a colleague, which has been loaded on the company's website. I was struggling to cite the picture, would appreciate if you can assist me on that as well. Thanks Kojo Essel (talk) 16:57, 7 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Hey Kojo Essel. If your colleague works at Shopnaw, you have, what is called on Wikipedia, a conflict of interest and you would have to follow these guidelines. That being said, at this point, the article is already written. If it is accepted by the reviewer, great. If it isn't, I'll take it over and try to get it published, because as I said before, I do believe the company is notable enough to merit an article. If that happens, you would still be able to let me know if you want a change as per the process described at the page I linked above.
As for the image, I'm not sure what you mean by "loaded on the company's website" but all images on Wikipedia have to be copyright-free, so unless it falls into one of the categories at WP:IUPC, there is a chance the image will get deleted unfortunately. If this happens, you can take an image of Shopnaw delivery people yourself, and then you will own the copyright of the image and can upload it to Wikipedia yourself.
You're quite welcome for the assistance and I also truly appreciate your own efforts to contribute to Wikipedia. Let me know if you have any further questions. Hillelfrei talk 18:01, 7 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Great to hear this Hillelfrei, will study the links you have shared and possible get back to you with my concern. Will also try and take some pictures myself. Thanks

Hi Hillelfrei, I just saw the review of the Shopnaw article, it has been declined again. How do I move from here based on the reviewer's comment. I need help. Thanks for your support Kojo Essel (talk) 19:25, 25 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]
