Speedy deletion nomination of FIRST Global

[edit]

Hello Korfan12,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged FIRST Global for deletion, because it seems to be inappropriate for a variety of reasons. For more details please see the notice on the article.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions.

Edit warring warning

[edit]
Stop icon

Your recent editing history at FIRST Global shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you are reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war. See BRD for how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.

Being involved in an edit war can result in your being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you don't violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly.

Wikipedia is not a vehicle for promotion. Do not try to force promotional content into Wikipedia. Please do see WP:Avoid mission statements btw. Jytdog (talk) 23:55, 22 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]

I really mean this. You have made it clear that you are a "fan", you have been told by several editors that your editing is promotional. Use the talk page! Jytdog (talk) 00:53, 23 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]
In good faith - I'm not mad, just confused and frustrated -- I guess I would have been more inclined to use the talk page if half my article wasn't thrown out with barely two sentences of explanation, none of which pertained to the so-called promotional editing. I apologize if it sounds promotional - honestly, but I tried to cut down on the flowery language and summed up in what I considered to be neutral terms. I diligently compared FIRST Global to FIRST's article. I'll explain more the edits I am trying to make and why I should think they are in order in the Talk page. Since you clearly don't agree with the edits I've made, it would be excellent if you could help me out over there instead of simply reverting. Korfan12 (talk) 01:02, 23 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]
