Mathematician articles

[edit]

Hello, and thanks for your contributions. You've created a number of short articles on mathematicians of the University of Toronto, but several (for example, Alexander Nabutovsky, Toniann Pitassi, George A. Elliott, ‎Victor Ivrii, Maciej Zworski and ‎Jeremy Quastel) don't yet assert notability per WP:ACADEMIC. Could you please add more detail, with WP:Secondary, WP:Reliable sources, about what makes them notable? Thanks, Filing Flunky (talk) 12:32, 23 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

The article Toniann Pitassi has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Appears to fail WP:GNG and WP:PROF

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
