Hello, DoctorWho42. Thanks for the warm welcome! I'm learning my way around, as you see. If you have a moment to spare, I wonder if you'd look at a request I have made on the S. Robson Walton Talk page? Thanks, Kt2011 (Talk · COI:Walton family) 21:20, 20 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]

A bit Confused

[edit]

Hello, I do not work for them but I did notice you have suggested she "moved to Fort Worth" after selling her Ranch. As someone who's family is also well known in Ftw, I can't recall a single time she's been involved in any major philanthropic or otherwise events in the city. Before my grandmother passed it was not widely known she even lived close to the city. Is this accurate? If so I can only say I have not seen her in Westlake. Just wanted to better understand if she was in fact residing in cowtown. Thank you

Hi Hbass21481, She has a home in Fort Worth now and the Star Telegram and other news outlets have mentioned it in a few articles. (Here's one: http://www.star-telegram.com/news/business/article87248437.html) A Ft. Worth-area grant involving Ms. Walton earlier this year was a $20 million endowment to Amon Carter Museum (http://www.star-telegram.com/news/local/community/fort-worth/article124246544.html). You can find additional Fort Worth-area grants listed on the Walton Family Foundation's grant reports on their website. I hope this is helpful.
