Please bear these points in mind while editing Wikipedia

The Wikipedia tutorial is a good place to start learning about Wikipedia. If you have any questions, see the help pages, add a question to the village pump or ask me on my talk page. By the way, you can sign your name on Talk and discussion pages using four tildes, like this: ~~~~ (the software will replace them with your signature and the date). Again, welcome! [edit]

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on University of California, Irvine School of Law. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.

Please be particularly aware that Wikipedia's policy on edit warring states:

  1. Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made.
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes; work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing. Regards, James(talk/contribs) 20:57, 14 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Hi James,

You seem to be engaged in an edit war with me. I cannot comprehend why you are erasing all of the updates I put in to the UCI page. You seem to be trolling.

The information is OUTDATED! People use wikipedia to learn more about a certain school, how are they supposed to lean more if you have info from 2011?

@Lawstudent2016: Please remember to sign all your edits with 4 tildes (~) so people know who you are. Thanks, GABHello! 18:08, 19 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Notice of Edit warring noticeboard discussion

[edit]

Information icon Hello. This message is being sent to inform you that there is currently a discussion involving you at Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Edit warring regarding a possible violation of Wikipedia's policy on edit warring. Thank you. Regards, James(talk/contribs) 21:15, 19 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

James,

WE are engaged in edit warring; not just me. You have repeatedly deleted the updated info I have incorporated to the page. I have not deleted anything. I have just added new information such as ranking info, employment data, bar passage rate, faculty/student count, etc. This is all relevant, new information that should be reflected on the page.

If you see something, such as a citation issue, please let me know and I'll fix it. But, please don't delete the entire updated sections.

Your recent edits

[edit]

Information icon Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. When you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion (but never when editing articles), please be sure to sign your posts. There are two ways to do this. Either:

  1. Add four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment; or
  2. With the cursor positioned at the end of your comment, click on the signature button ( or ) located above the edit window.

This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is necessary to allow other editors to easily see who wrote what and when.

Thank you. --SineBot (talk) 21:41, 19 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]
