Hindi literature encyclopedia moved to draftspace

[edit]

An article you recently created, Hindi literature encyclopedia, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. A tag has been placed on Andheri Nagari, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Thank you for creating Supadmavyākaraṇa. A couple of points:

  • Please show the date of this book - ancient or modern?
  • You apparently consulted your reference next month. Please check and correct the "Access-date".

Thanks. PamD 07:40, 13 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,@PamD: welcome In My knowledge I have no idea more information related to this topic When I Created this article, I did not know that questions will be asked about this article. In my opinion the option is correct is ancient.Ok I Correct acess date immediately.Sorry about that.

  • But when you add information to the encyclopedia and cite a reference, with an access date, you are saying "I looked at this source on this date and it supports the information I have added to the encyclopedia". If you can't honestly do this, don't add the information to the encyclopedia. PamD 10:19, 13 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Translating from other language Wikis

[edit]

Hi MXX8. Welcome to Wikipedia, and thanks for writing article in the field of Indian literature. I noticed that you are translating articles from Hindi Wikipedia. In this case, you need to provide attribution in the summary for the edit that copies the work. This is a copyright issue and must be done. You should go through all the translations that you've made and add a {{translated page}} template to their talk pages. For more information, see Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia#Translating from other language Wikimedia projects. Feel free to ask me if you need any help in editing. --Gazal world (talk) 21:32, 14 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Meri ikyaavan kavitaen, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Collection. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 05:57, 17 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Hallo, Thank you for creating Sunita (novel). When you create an article like this with a "disambiguated" title, please make sure that the reader can find it from the basic name (ie Sunita ), by adding or expanding a hatnote, or adding the article to a disambiguation page. This helps the reader to find your article, and also reduces the chance of a future careless editor creating a duplicate article with a slightly different disambiguator. I've fixed this one. Thanks, and Happy Editing. PamD 07:38, 17 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

I "thanked" you by accident, while meaning to revert the edit. There is no need for the hatnote on the disambiguated page, as a reader won't get there unless they choose that title. PamD 06:24, 18 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Your signature

[edit]

I'm not sure if you're familiar, but we have some guidelines on custom signatures at WP:CUSTOMSIG. Signatures should not make it difficult to identify your username, and should not contain images. It's also best to try to avoid disrupting how text around your signature displays (such as by increasing the line height, as the image in yours is currently doing). It also contains some recommendations on choosing colors so as not to make it more difficult for visually impaired users to read your name.

Would you mind updating your signature to align with those recommendations? Thanks. GorillaWarfare (she/her • talk) 02:28, 24 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Ok I've Change our Signature.Best Regards ~~8@Talk✍️ 02:34, 24 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]
[edit]

When copying text from another source, making trivial changes to the wording, while keeping sufficiently close to the original to make it perfectly clear that it is substantially a copy, is not enough to prevent it being an infringement of copyright. For example, if a source says "Many veterans contributed towards the standardization of Hindi spelling, among which..." and you replace it with "Many stalwarts contributed towards the standardization of Hindi spelling, among which...", anybody can see that you have copied the text. Likewise, copying a sentence word for word except for substituting "typewriter" for "typing machine" does not stop the copying from infringing copyright, and similarly for all the other trivial changes you made. Don't copy text from elsewhere and change it to try to avoid copyright violation: write material in your own words from the start. JBW (talk) 15:43, 24 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

JBW,Forgive me sir, I am very sorry for this mistake, I will not do any such mistake in future.Standard Hindi Spelling Article is translated into Hindi.Best Regards MXX8Talk✍️ 03:53, 25 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Care with edit summaries and talk page messages

[edit]

Please be careful with edit summaries. In this edit you gave an edit summary suggesting that you were reverting "Unexplained content removal ", but in fact the edit you reverted did not remove any content. Even more importantly, be careful that talk page messages correctly relate to the editing they refer to, especially if you are posting to new editors, or IP editors who may be new. At User talk:50.40.224.170 you said "I noticed that you recently removed content from Talk:Greenwashing without adequately explaining why", but the editor had not removed anything from that page.
