Ly de Angeles

[edit]

Hi - I've edited your article on Ly De Angeles. Please be aware of Wikipedia's policy that it is not generally acceptable to for a person to write an article on themselves. You might want to look at Wikipedia's guidelines for writing bio's of living people for some useful tips. As for your question on adding citations, take a look at the page -- I've added one at the end of the first paragraph under "Early life." If you click on "edit page" you can see the code for how it should be done. Basically it's like this:

<ref>[URL_of_article#space#Title of article]</ref>

for example:

<ref>[http://www.cnn.com/2008/POLITICS/10/11/assisted.suicide.ap/index.html Washington voters mull assisted suicide law]</ref>

If you do it this way it will automatically show up down in the references section. You can also take a look at Wikipedia's Manual of Style on [[Wikipedia:Citing_sources|citing sources]. Happy editing! --Bookgrrl holler/lookee here 03:10, 12 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

AfD nomination of Ly De Angeles

[edit]

An editor has nominated one or more articles which you have created or worked on, for deletion. The nominated article is Ly De Angeles. We appreciate your contributions, but the nominator doesn't believe that the article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in his/her nomination (see also Wikipedia:Notability and "What Wikipedia is not").

Your opinions on whether the article meets inclusion criteria and what should be done with the article are welcome; please participate in the discussion(s) by adding your comments to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Ly De Angeles. Please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~).

You may also edit the article during the discussion to improve it but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion debate.

Please note: This is an automatic notification by a bot. I have nothing to do with this article or the deletion nomination, and can't do anything about it. --Erwin85Bot (talk) 01:12, 11 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I have nominated Ly De Angeles, an article that you created, for deletion. I do not think that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Ly De Angeles (2nd nomination). Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time.

Please contact me if you're unsure why you received this message. Orange Mike | Talk 01:35, 27 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Please feel free to delete the article. I authored it nearer to wikipedias standards, though the article since then had been altered by the subject herself, or someone of a close proximity to her. Ly De Angeles is a significant contributor to the Pagan/Witchcraft movement and is an established and published author(Llewelyn), but whoever decided to edit the page clearly re-wrote it more like an ad, which was not the original state of the article. You are receiving this because you have commented on either Autogynephilia, Homosexual transsexual, or Blanchard, Bailey, and Lawrence theory in the past two years; all such commenters have received this notice. It has been proposed to merge these three articles to eliminate WP:Redundancy, WP:UNDUE, WP:POV, and to keep the focus on the specific Blanchardian theory of M2F transsexuality (in contrast to Transsexual sexuality, which would be to focus on the subject in general). Please feel free to comment on the proposal at Talk:Autogynephilia#Merger proposal. -- 70.57.222.103 (talk) 20:09, 8 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]
