Welcome!

[edit]

Hello, Leanne Morgan and welcome to Wikipedia! It appears you are participating in a class project. If you haven't done so already, we encourage you to go through our training for students. Your instructor or professor may wish to set up a course page, if your class doesn't already have one.

Go through our online training for students.

If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or ask your question on this page and then place {{Helpme}} before the question.

Before you create an article, make sure you understand what kind of articles are accepted here. Remember: Wikipedia is an encyclopedia, and while many topics are encyclopedic, some things are not.

It is highly recommended that you place this text: {{Educational assignment}} on the talk page of any articles you are working on as part of your Wikipedia-related course assignment. This will let other editors know this article is a subject of an educational assignment and should be treated accordingly.

We hope you like it here and encourage you to stay even after your assignment is finished! --Geniac (talk) 23:47, 24 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Leanne. At present the article is just his name, and might be speedily deleted. Can you give an indication of who he is, and why he is significant? Peter aka --Shirt58 (talk) 09:57, 4 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Peter, Raymond J.Noonan is a page that we are creating as part of a group project for a uni module, the content is going to be added shortly! :) Daniel.Frozenwind (talk) 10:02, 4 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]
(talk page stalker) Howay man Daniel, you still need to add content to the article. (And apologies if I'm getting my Humberside and Tyneside mixed up. I think it is appropriate to point out that I live in a country entirely populated by convicts, and some more modern cultural nuances of The Mother Country are somewhat lost on us.) But seriously, there does need to be actual content added to the article, or it will be deleted very soon. --Shirt58 (talk) 10:36, 4 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]
That's Tyneside!(Geordie) And yes, content is going to be added to the article pretty soon, its already being actively worked on as I type this. :) Daniel.Frozenwind (talk) 10:44, 4 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Help us improve the Wikipedia Education Program

[edit]

Hi Leanne Morgan! As a student editor on Wikipedia, you have a lot of valuable experience about what it's like to edit as a part of a classroom assignment. In order to help other students like you enjoy editing while contributing positively to Wikipedia, it's extremely helpful to hear from real student editors about their challenges, successes, and support needs. Please take a few minutes to answer these questions by clicking below. (Note that the responses are posted to a public wiki page.) Thanks!

Deletion discussion about Raymond J. Noonan

[edit]

Hello, Leanne Morgan,

I wanted to let you know that there's a discussion about whether Raymond J. Noonan should be deleted. Your comments are welcome at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Raymond J. Noonan .

If you're new to the process, articles for deletion is a group discussion (not a vote!) that usually lasts seven days. If you need it, there is a guide on how to contribute. Last but not least, you are highly encouraged to continue improving the article; just be sure not to remove the tag about the deletion nomination from the top.

Thanks, Ad Orientem (talk) 01:48, 3 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]
