Hey! Thanks for editing Wikipedia. I noticed that a few of your edits, you are using IMDb as a citation. Unfortunately, IMDb is not considered a reliable source for things like cast lists. You need to use a reliable source when adding cast members to an upcoming film. Let me know if you have any questions. BOVINEBOY2008 08:53, 26 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

@User:Bovineboy2008 Ok, I didn't know IMDB cannot be used. I am a new user. I will see if I can find other sources.Lesliechin1 (talk) 23:02, 26 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks! It is always hard to find sources for casts for anyone other than major stars or the leads in the films. It is sometimes best just to wait, then we can use the credits in the actual movie as a source. I would generally look to sources like Variety or similar film magazines/news sites for that info. 120 Days

I would however support a deletion nomination of Category:120 Days albums. Geschichte (talk) 09:50, 30 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Please don't move articles for no reason

[edit]

Hi. Your page move of Let Them Know was unnecessary and unexplained. Please don't perform page moves without an explanation, and if you are going to move a page for a good reason, please make sure the spelling is correct. Thank you. Ss112 09:36, 18 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

The page move was because Music title did not have the Music artist name and this is how it's typically done on Wiki. The spelling error was fixed right away. Lesliechin1 (talk) 09:43, 18 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Please read WP:NCMDAB. We do not need the artist's name in the title unless there is another song of the same name with an article on Wikipedia. There is not another song of the name "Let Them Know" with an article on Wikipedia, therefore we do not need to disambiguate the article title. Please read the linked guideline before moving any other pages to familiarise yourself with how articles are titled on Wikipedia. Also, it does not matter if you "fixed" the spelling error right away. You should be making sure before moving the page that you have correctly spelt the artist's name. Your move to "Mable song" prevented the page from being moved back after somebody (in this case, me) noticed your error in unnecessarily disambiguating the article title. Thanks. Ss112 10:06, 18 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you for informing me. Didn't think it was a big deal to have the artists name in the title. Had it been created that way, I bet no one would have bothered to remove it. Lesliechin1 (talk) 10:14, 18 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]
On the contrary. Editors frequently request a technical move of an article to simplify its disambiguation if they cannot perform it themselves. Ss112 10:45, 18 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Emmanuel Otteh

[edit]

Hi-According to Wikipedia, Roman Catholic bishops and archbishops are considered to be notable. Emmanuel Otteh was a Roman Catholic bishop in Nigeria. You may want to read the guideline on notabilty involving Wikipedia. Thank You-RFD (talk) 19:10, 19 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Ok Thanks for the info. Lesliechin1 (talk) 23:20, 5 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]
What you were told here was not correct; our notability criteria may actually be found here. That said, I did just want to let you know that when you nominate an AfD, you should not also make a bolded "delete" statement (though of course you may still make followup comments or reply to others in the discussion). The nomination itself is considered your argument to delete. Not a big deal, just wanted to let you know it's normally done that way. Seraphimblade Talk to me 04:45, 6 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]
oh wow, my delete vote was accidental and should have been stroked out. i didn't realize that I had nominated that one myself! I didn't have any intentions of doing that purposely. I am aware that I cannot vote if I nominated it.Lesliechin1 (talk) 09:47, 23 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]
