Welcome!

Hello, Lida Vorig, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Unfortunately, one or more of the pages you created, like Natela Nikolava, may not conform to some of Wikipedia's guidelines for page creation, and may soon be deleted.

A tag has been placed on Natela Nikolava requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for biographies.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. ttonyb1 (talk) 23:47, 15 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Articles for deletion

[edit]

Before making further deletion nominations, I suggest you read Wikipedia:Verifiability#Non-English sources, Wikipedia:Notability, and Wikipedia:Notability (people)#Athletes closely. Also, do you speak any Russian? In six of your Azerbaijan-related AfD nominations today, Russian-language sources were easily located, or were in fact already in the article at the time you nominated it. WP:BEFORE specifically states: "When nominating an article for deletion due to sourcing or notability concerns, make a good-faith attempt to confirm that such sources aren't likely to exist." If you don't speak Russian yourself, part of that "good-faith attempt" involves finding a Russian-speaker to help you out --- for example, you can leave a message on Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Russia if you need assistance from a Russian-speaker who isn't involved in Azerbaijan-related topics. cab (talk) 16:24, 17 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Anti-Azerbaijanism

[edit]

It seems, you have been flagging only Azerbaijani articles, instead of improving and there is good evidence that this user is part of Armenian Propaganda. Well, I guess, All Azerbaijani users better flag up Armenian articles--NovaSkola (talk) 22:33, 17 August 2009 (UTC) [*] I traced your IP, seems like you are armenian 100%.[reply]

WP:AE

!I have filed a WP:AE request against you for the disruptive flagging Azerbaijani Articles. Please give your statement [1].--NovaSkola (talk) 00:48, 18 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Withdrawing an AfD nomination

[edit]

To withdraw an AfD nomination, you could either:

  1. Cross out your nomination statement (the line right after {{findsources}} at the top of the AfD) by putting <s> </s> around it: Nomination reason. Then add another line starting with Nomination withdrawn, and state the reason for withdrawing it. An administrator should see it soon and close it. (If no one comes along soon, ask at Wikipedia talk:Articles for deletion).
  2. Close the nomination yourself. You'll have to follow the directions at Wikipedia:Deletion process#Process, which could be rather complicated. In step #5, your '''RESULT''' would be '''Withdrawn by nominator'''.

Ask at my talk page or Wikipedia talk:Articles for deletion if you have any further questions. Thanks, cab (talk) 04:14, 19 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Arbitration enforcement

[edit]

I have filed a arbitration enforcement request, which while not primarily about you, does mention actions by you which appear to violate editing restrictions at Wikipedia:Arbitration/Requests/Enforcement#Meowy. Camaron · Christopher · talk 11:55, 29 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Reminder

[edit]

Hey there. Just a friendly reminder for you to remember to observe the assume good faith policy; it makes discourse a lot better when these sorts of accusations aren't tossed around. Thanks, NW (Talk) 22:21, 29 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Mardakert skirmish

[edit]

Hello! Thanks for your efforts NPOVing the article about the Mardakert skirmish of 2010. However, please be aware of the Armenia-Azerbaijan 2 Arbitration Enforcement Policy and be aware that continuous edit warring might lead to blocks or bans. Thanks. -- Davo88 (talk) 23:59, 25 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Your 1RR/week restriction

[edit]

The new complaint at WP:AE indicates that your recent edits violate the 1RR/week restriction that was imposed on you under the AA2 decision. (I see two groups of edits by you on 25 August, each of which contains an 'Undo', so that is two reverts in one day). Since 1RR is a mechanical rule and since compliance with 1RR can be easily checked, it is hard to get out of this one. I recommend that you agree to voluntarily withdraw from the disputed article, 2010 Mardakert skirmish for a period of time, say three months. You would still be able to comment on the article's talk page. If this is acceptable to you, it may be possible to close the AE request without imposing any involuntary restrictions. Thanks, EdJohnston (talk) 17:02, 26 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Category:Parent abduction, which you created, has been nominated for discussion. If you would like to participate in the discussion, you are invited to add your comments at the category's entry on the Categories for discussion page. Proposed deletion of Haji Mammadov

[edit]

The article Haji Mammadov has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Please delete this topic as I've created Operation Black Belt, which covers same crime. You can also merge both topics.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
