Thanks for uploading Image:Postcardfirstmerit.jpg. The image has been identified as not specifying the source and creator of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided source information for them as well.

License tagging for Image:Akron YMCA.jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Akron YMCA.jpg. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 16:05, 6 September 2007 (UTC)

Notification of automated file description generation

[edit]

Your upload of File:Akron YMCA.jpg or contribution to its description is noted, and thanks (even if belatedly) for your contribution. In order to help make better use of the media, an attempt has been made by an automated process to identify and add certain information to the media's description page.

This notification is placed on your talk page because a bot has identified you either as the uploader of the file, or as a contributor to its metadata. It would be appreciated if you could carefully review the information the bot added. To opt out of these notifications, please follow the instructions here. Thanks! The objectivity of an article is directly related to its quality.
You are raising an overly pedantic objection to how someone phrased their objection to the lack of neutrality within the article on the Talk page. Livius Plinius (talk) 17:09, 19 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Two people reverted you, a third has warned you. Your response ignores what you’ve been told about our policies and guidelines. Doug Weller talk 17:23, 19 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
You're not directly addressing why the content in question has nothing to do with the quality of the article. It was directly about whether the article has a neutral POV.
You are now adopting an ominous and harassing tone for some reason. This site as millions of users. The opinion of three users does not form a consensus. Livius Plinius (talk) 17:34, 19 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Just a straightforward statement. Cites specific issues related to content and policies etc and you’ll have no problems. Doug Weller talk 19:23, 19 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
