What the fuck have I've been blocked for? I created this account months ago, log back on and I'm blocked. Why? Lookwhosback (talk) 20:47, 29 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]

This user's unblock request has been reviewed by an administrator, who declined the request. Other administrators may also review this block, but should not override the decision without good reason (see the blocking policy).

Request reason:

Because I have done nothing wrong. I created this account about a month ago. Log back on and I' blocked. Why? Lookwhosback (talk) 20:49, 29 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Decline reason:

OK, you know now. If you have another question, please ask it using something other than the unblock-request template. If you actually have a request to be unblocked, use this again. — Daniel Case (talk) 01:42, 30 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

The account was checked by a Checkuser who have tools available to them to calculate if an account or series of accounts is being used by someone as part of a range of accounts to disrupt Wikipedia. You will need to appeal to an administrator for an unblock. Amortias (T)(C)

As it appears you may have already done so above.

Request reason:

I am a sock puppet of steadyonplease. I realise I should not have made a sock puppet but I want to edit wikipedia and so I will keep on making sock puppets. Anyway, by saying this I am being honest. You made a mistake by identifying me as the wrong user. The reason I turned to sock pup petting is because my first account was hacked, and upon reading the rules I realised that this would not be an accepted reason, hence the socks. I know that some smart arrsed administrator will give a one word response saying I am still blocked, but I am trying to be honest.Lookwhosback (talk) 20:19, 31 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Decline reason:

I will give you the courtesy of a longer than one word answer. You have, including this one, no less than eleven socks. You may have more. It is not likely that a sockpuppet will be unblocked, if only because by definition creation of a sockpuppet is an immediate block evasion; I recognise that you have made an admission in your request, although it was of course prompted by a checkuser block. a checkuser block will not be overturned by an admin without checkuser ability. Creating more sockpuppets is unlikely to be helpful. Your best bet is to return to your primary account and lay all your cards on the line, including a full and frank admission of all of your socks. You may be given the standard offer; or you can enter into discussion with a checkuser. But either way it will be better to work with us, not against us.--Anthony Bradbury"talk" 21:24, 31 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]
