Hi there! I've reverted your edit: my figures are for ETHNIC FIJIANS, as the paragraph makes clear. Your are for Fiji as a whole, almost half of whom are not ethnic Fijians. Christians are much fewer among Indians and other minorities. The paragraph concerns the differences between the ethnic groups and the statistics compare them. - You're right, the 76.2 percent figure for Hindus refers to Indo-Fijians. Let's analyze the sentence of the paragraph: Religion is one of the faultlines between indigenous Fijians and Indo-Fijians, with the former (indigenous Fijians) overwhelmingly Christian (99.2 percent at the 1996 census), and the latter (Indo-Fijians) mostly Hindu (76.7 percent) or Muslim (15.9 percent).
I'm glad you're interested enough in Fiji to want to translate articles - and I admire you for doing so despite the difficulties of the English language. What is your first language, may I ask? David Cannon 09:16, 2 November 2005 (UTC)
Fiji Islands
[edit]Hi there! Long time no see. Actually, the terms involves (Archipelago, Group, Islands) are flexible and are used interchangeably. I don't think any of them has any particular legal status.
At the moment, I'm not very active on Wikipedia as I'm busy with other things, but will be coming back soon, hopefully. Great to see you still around! David Cannon 11:27, 6 April 2006 (UTC)
Yadua Taba
[edit]Hi there! They both actually belong in the Vanua Levu Group, and should both ideally be included in the template. I have not as yet been able to uncover any data about the larger Yadua, but if you have some, please upload it!
I'm quite pressed for time at the moment, and am missing Wikipedia. I look forward to resuming my regular contribution to the project as soon as possible. Good to hear from you again! David Cannon 10:47, 5 May 2006 (UTC)
Re:Damavand
[edit]I translated the article Damavand into Japanese article. Hence, I added the interwiki into Damavand again. Thank you.--Questionfromjapan 14:29, 23 July 2006 (UTC)
