Hey there! I saw you editing the List of Georgia hurricanes. Those lists of storms by state are a favorite of mine, as they help show an area's history related to a particular natural disaster. I also know how overwhelming it can feel trying to do it all. So if you're considering working on the list, just know that improving the most important storms are a great start, such as the storms to actually produce hurricane-force winds in the state. Of course, if your edit adding Michael was just a one-off, no worries, that's useful too! Cheers ♫ Hurricanehink (talk) 18:08, 23 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I probably won't be adding more summaries to the page, although I do want to edit the section on Michael a little bit. I'm fairly certain that the damage toll makes it the costliest hurricane on record in Georgia but I'm still looking for a proper source on it. MCRPY22 (talk) 22:22, 23 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Looks like Tropical Storm Alberto (1994) was the previous costliest TC. That article has this nugget -

With $750 million in damage, Alberto was considered the costliest tropical cyclone in Georgia, until Hurricane Michael in 2018.

And it has sources too. ♫ Hurricanehink (talk) 15:50, 24 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Hey there MCRPY22! I saw you were working on the List of Mississippi hurricanes, and I'm pretty impressed how much you got done. Do you think it's in good enough shape (even if it's incomplete) to publish it? ♫ Hurricanehink (talk) 22:38, 20 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I think it is, there are definitely things that still need to be added and improved (there's no images right now, for instance), but I think it at least meets the minimum standards for a page of that sort. MCRPY22 (talk) 23:04, 21 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
