[edit]Hi! I wanted to give you some notes. My main note is that the draft is a little choppy in how it reads, so you need to work on the flow a little. Some of the dates need to be clarified - for example, the campaign section doesn't state the year of her run. While it's common info now, it may not be later on down the line and also may not be as common for people outside of the United States. The election section could be fleshed out a little more or merged into the campaign section. I think that you could probably flesh this out fairly easily by discussing the reporting and to also show the vote's reception. The sourcing is good, although I would stick to major publications like the New York Times and the Advocate, as they have a fairly good reputation. Be careful about things like Vice, as they're seen as doing gonzo journalism, which doesn't really do a lot of verification of facts. It doesn't mean that they can't be right, just that it won't be the best possible source.

- Hi Maddie - I had a quick note about Danica Roem: I forgot to mention that as she's a politician and a transgender woman, she's seen as a more controversial topic than some of the other people out there. This makes it very important that you are careful about the sourcing. Tone is also important, but I didn't really see that this was a problem with your draft but wanted to mention it anyway. If by some chance the content is removed, make sure that you discuss the removal with the other person on the article's talk page or on their talk page. (Just a general head's up - I don't think offhand that your material will be wholly removed.) I just wanted to follow up and make sure that I mentioned this.
