Hello, MadisonMat13, and welcome to Wikipedia! My name is Ian and I work with Wiki Education; I help support students who are editing as part of a class assignment.

I hope you enjoy editing here. If you haven't already done so, please check out the student training library, which introduces you to editing and Wikipedia's core principles. Talk:Vaquita

[edit]

I reverted your edits at Talk:Vaquita because you substituted your user name for that of User:Marissabasi as the author of the existing comment. I believe that what you intended was to replace User:Marissabasi with your user name as the Student editor, but your edit did not do that. Please try again, changing "assignments = [[User:Marissabasi|Marissabasi]]" to "assignments = [[User:MadisonMat13|MadisonMat13]]" and then signing the change by adding four tildes (~~~~) at the bottom of the section.

Peer Review

Hi! After reviewing your sandbox draft, I noticed the two statements you added to the original article added extra detail not previously stated. One possibility for improvement is the second reference you used is from 2008, and you may be able to find a more recent source. An area in the article that you could add to could be predation. The section in the article is short, and the references you have used might have information that could be used in that portion. Tink0510 (talk) 00:35, 24 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for the feedback. I will look for a more recent source! MadisonMat13 (talk) 03:36, 1 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Hi! I was reading over the Hammerhead shark article and I had some thoughts of what may be interesting to add. First, I was curious to know if finning has become or less common in recent years as conversation is becoming more talked about. Second, I would be interested in knowing if there has been any research done suggesting possible tools or methods that can be used to reduce the bycatch of hammerhead sharks. Thank you for the great feedback! I will look into that to add to the article! MadisonMat13 (talk) 03:36, 1 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
