Leukemia

That picture was of WBC and is neither a sign nor a symptoms. Best Doc James (talk · contribs · email) 10:05, 11 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Lifted from Leukemia wiki - "Leukemia, also spelled leukemia, is a group of cancers that usually begin in the bone marrow and result in high numbers of abnormal white blood cells." The Image shows a stage in Leukemia when there is an increase in white blood cells.

Your account has been blocked from editing Wikipedia with this username. This is because your username, Scientific Animations, does not meet our username policy.

Your username is the only reason for this block. You are welcome to choose a new username (see below) and continue editing.

A username should not be promotional, related to a "real-world" group or organization, misleading, offensive or disruptive. Also, usernames may not end in the word "bot" unless the account is an approved bot account

You are encouraged to choose a new account name that meets our policy guidelines and create the account yourself. Alternatively, if you have already made edits and you wish to keep your existing contributions under a new name, then you may request a change in username by:

  1. Adding {{unblock-un|your new username here}} on your user talk page. You should be able to do this even though you are blocked, as you can usually still edit your own talk page. If not, you may wish to contact the blocking administrator by clicking on "E-mail this user" on their talk page.
  2. At an administrator's discretion, you may be unblocked for 24 hours to file a request.
  3. Please note that you may only request a name that is not already in use, so please check here for a listing of already taken names. The account is created upon acceptance, thus do not try to create the new account before making the request for a name change. For more information, please see Wikipedia:Changing username.
If you think that you were blocked in error, you may appeal this block by adding below this notice the text {{unblock|Your reason here}}, but you should read our guide to appealing blocks first. Doc James (talk · contribs · email) 09:44, 14 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]
You are more than welcome to continue editing. You just need to change your user name. By the way thanks for releasing the images under an open license. Doc James (talk · contribs · email) 13:42, 18 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]

This username is not acceptable too. You have to chose a username that represents you as a person, not a company. Vanjagenije (talk) 10:04, 8 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Concerns

[edit]
High blood pressure inside the heart causing contraction.

This image caption does not make sense. Please clarify. Doc James (talk · contribs · email) 20:13, 27 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Caption

[edit]
Insufficient insulin release by beta cells in case of type 2 diabetes.

Does not make sense again.

What do you think this is trying to show? Doc James (talk · contribs · email) 15:40, 21 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Caps

[edit]

Remember that we use very few capital letters. Thus it is "testicular cancer". Best Doc James (talk · contribs · email) 10:43, 1 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Seriously?[1] Please follow the advice you are given. Doc James (talk · contribs · email) 21:03, 15 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Comment regarding images

[edit]

Thanks for putting these very high quality images on articles, I feel they're great additions. I would like to ask though if you could not include "3D medical shot" or "3D illustration". The type of image is immediately visible on viewing and that is not consistent with the way we describe most images. It also adds nothing to their encyclopedia value and the type of image is visible to readers at first glance. Additionally anatomical objects aren't necessary medical and given these are still shots with a modicum of depth I'm not sure it's that accurate to claim they are 3D. If you must, could you just say "Image"? Even better would just be removing that part entirely.

I feel the images are super useful but just request you change the captions a little. Cheers --Tom (LT) (talk) 00:44, 16 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Some great images!
