Hello, (@CAPTAIN MEDUSA:)! Happy New Year and thanks for helping it's greatly appreciated! I spoke with the Founder of Wikipedia on Linkedin and was directed to start a Draft in my sandbox using the link/references he already reviewed for our company. I brought up COI and he said, "COI is ok if you are neutral and disclose your COI." He also guided me on how to create a user page. I apologize for the limited article subject context. When I first started the draft I thought I was saving it for later edits when I clicked publish because I saw no save button. But I didn't actually mean to make it live for review at the time. Anyhow, after your suggestion, I added more to the article and went to the wiki chatroom, I believe it was the teahouse, and asked users there if they thought I'd added enough to fix the reason why it was initially declined and they said yes so I resubmitted it for review. I hope this serves as needed and also hope I'm using the talk page correctly to respond to you Italic text ~~

[edit]Hello Marcus478ga. The nature of your edits gives the impression you have an undisclosed financial stake in promoting a topic, but you have not complied with Wikipedia's mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements. Paid advocacy is a category of conflict of interest (COI) editing that involves being compensated by a person, group, company or organization to use Wikipedia to promote their interests. Undisclosed paid advocacy is prohibited by our policies on neutral point of view and what Wikipedia is not, and is an especially egregious type of COI; the Wikimedia Foundation regards it as a "black hat" practice akin to black-hat SEO.
Paid advocates are very strongly discouraged from direct article editing, and should instead propose changes on the talk page of the article in question if an article exists, and if it does not, from attempting to write an article at all. At best, any proposed article creation should be submitted through the articles for creation process, rather than directly.
Regardless, if you are receiving or expect to receive compensation for your edits, broadly construed, you are required by the Wikimedia Terms of Use to disclose your employer, client and affiliation. You can post such a mandatory disclosure to your user page at User:Marcus478ga. The template {{Paid}} can be used for this purpose – e.g. in the form: {{paid|user=Marcus478ga|employer=InsertName|client=InsertName}}
. If I am mistaken – you are not being directly or indirectly compensated for your edits – please state that in response to this message. Otherwise, please provide the required disclosure. In either case, do not edit further until you answer this message. GSS 💬 15:17, 22 January 2020 (UTC)
Hey, (@GSS:)! Good morning and thanks for helping! As stated above I spoke with the Founder Jake and was directed to start a draft but I didn't realize at the time I was supposed to do it as a talk page rather than the way I did it and I apologize for that. As far as compensation to make this article goes, no there is none as I'm the Founder of the company itself so I'm not paying anyone. I guess I'm a bit confused about how to disclose this information. As Mr. Orlowitz told me it was ok as long as I disclosed it here on my talk page which I thought I did when I responded to CAPTAIN MEDUSA
