Royalty photograph uploads

[edit]

Maria, Thank you so much for uploading and adding so many wonderful photographs to the royalty articles. The images certainly complete them. May I ask where you found them? Thanks again for your many contributions! --Caponer (talk) 00:54, 31 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I agree. Beautiful photos added now to Prince Wilhelm of Sweden and Princess Margaretha! SergeWoodzing (talk) 01:02, 21 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Adding in my two cents, I also am thankful you are adding royal photos! They really do improve the articles substantially, especially for the Oldenburgs! Thanks again. Ruby2010 (talk) 00:20, 7 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Pictures of Luftwaffe Knight's Cross recipients

[edit]

I noticed that you have uploaded a number of very nice pictures of recipients of the Knight's Cross. I wonder if you have more quality pictures for the article List of Knight's Cross with Oak Leaves, Swords or Diamonds recipients of the Luftwaffe fighter force? MisterBee1966 (talk) 15:40, 29 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I have added every picture that is either PD in the US or from the Bundesarchiv on Wikimedia. Basically I would appreciate a picture of anyone currently without a picture. Just look down the list top down, start with Erich Hartman, Heinz-Wolfgang Schnaufer, Heinrich Bär, Hans Philipp, etc. While their respective articles have pictures, they are allo non free fair use and may not be put in list on Wikipedia. Thanks for your help. MisterBee1966 (talk) 06:47, 3 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]
the picture File:JLemelsen.jpg seems distorted. Could you please check? Thanks MisterBee1966 (talk) 13:47, 27 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Greek succession for Bavarian princes

[edit]

For reasons of verification, could you please provide the exact quote that supports this claim, along with the page number? Thanks in advance, Constantine 21:02, 20 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hello! Repeating my request above, could you please provide the quote. Verifiability requires that we know exactly what this source claims on this subject.... Regards, Constantine 13:25, 1 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for your reply. I know German, but I can't find this book in Greece or online (and my next trip to Germany is a long way off, alas), so I am willing to wait. I am aware that technically they have the rights of succession, but my quibble is that, unlike "King of Jerusalem" etc, which has been part of the traditional titles of the Kings of Spain, if the title "King of Greece" was never used by the Wittelsbachs after Otto, it cannot really be applied to them. King Juan Carlos is probably aware that he claims the title "King of Jerusalem", but I am not at all sure whether Prince Georg of Bavaria or any of his heirs would consider themselves as claimants to the title "King of Greece". And if they don't, then Wikipedia cannot do so either, no matter what is technically the case. This has been explained, by a number of users, to the IP user who added the claims in the first place. Anyhow, we shall wait and see. Until then, cheers Constantine 16:05, 1 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. When you recently edited Counts of Wartenberg, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Marienthal (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Hello, I am the one who has been reverted by you I I would like to learn why.

You wrote: Sorry but you are wrong! In addition your version is NOT covered by the original copyright!

Sorry I don't understand that.

First I took another picture, you reverted it, your why sounds okay to me. Then I startet to word on your picture. I took away the dirt or fog of the scanning process and lifted on this why Quality to a much higher Version of it. It's still the same picture and so I don't understand why you reverted it to the much more worse state.

I think I understood. By the way, if it'll be a common one, I would like to choose my version B-) The Photograph, Mohrmann, has been existing in Lübeck untill the late 60th of the last century. It may be possible that his son took the business over before. The studio was settled in the de:Fleischhauerstraße (Lübeck). Information has been taken from the adressbooks of Lübeck. I think you should know that as well. I think the picture had been taken in august 1914 because he has only the EK 2. It followed the EK 1, the königlicher Hausorden and then the first PLM in december 1914. Greetings 1970gemini (talk) 19:43, 11 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Here you are my invitation to the german KvM-site. All pictures are taken from me or brought by me. Also the picture of the tombstone on the Lübeckian Ehrenfriedhof. He was living next to a parc where two other higher militairians, GL von Koppelow and GM v. Mejer lived after the war as well.1970gemini (talk) 12:30, 12 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Heinrich Hoffmann pictures

[edit]

I have a favor to ask. I have used a number of your Hoffmann scans in various lists of Knight's Cross recipients. The most recent reviewer has requested the source of these images (see here). Could you help address his request? Thanks MisterBee1966 (talk) 05:35, 14 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Nick has left another comment. Can you have a look please. Thanks MisterBee1966 (talk) 16:29, 15 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Hi, I had a look and only eight images need your feedback on source. Could you make the changes please? I could help if the source you mentioned "Direct Source: Private Collection - Wartenberg Trust" - "Published as a print/postcard in Germany between 1933-1945" applies to all of them. Thanks MisterBee1966 (talk) 05:41, 20 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]
I guess you have your hands full now. Good luck and I hope the pictures you uploaded can remain here. MisterBee1966 (talk) 17:51, 5 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I am aware that you are blocked, but I thought you should be notified of a discussion at Wikipedia:Possibly unfree files concerning File:Gordon Gollob.jpg. DrKiernan (talk) 20:39, 25 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

The article Wartenberg Trust has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Self-sourced article with no independent sources and no claims to notability

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
