Information icon Please do not remove maintenance templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to Massimo Boninsegni, without resolving the problem that the template refers to, or giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your removal of this template does not appear constructive, and has been reverted. As I said in my edit message, while I understand that you are being as neutral as possible, that does not change the fact that you are a significant contributor to an article about yourself, a textbook example of conflict of interest. Please familiarize yourself with the Wikipedia policies about conflict of interest, and do not remove the templates again without discussion on the article talk page. creffpublic a creffett franchise (talk to the boss) 20:39, 20 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Sourcing and autobiography

[edit]

Wikipedia articles should summarise existing sources available about a subject. It is perfectly possible that someone might comment on the fact you are an atheist, or that you became a Canadian citizen, but until they do, Wikipedia shouldn't contain this information. It's no different to how you would write the introduction to a paper. This is precisely the reason we strongly discourage people from editing articles about themselves (see WP:AUTO) and I would request that you do not do so again. If there are other sources available, then please list them on the talk page for someone else to look at and decide what to include. Thank you SmartSE (talk) 20:57, 21 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]
